so damn happy to see an update from you! i love this story because there's no love lost on Amelle's part. "usually" the woman who suddenly starts to have feelings for the guy even though he treats her like s*it but instead Amelle gives off the feeling she's a woman who wants to reclaim control of her own life and break free from the chains that these snorty, spoiled man have shackled her in.
i have to agree with previous reviewers that the update felt slightly rushed - but hey! i rather have an update then none at all, lol! so thanks for the update and look forward to upcoming update plus the sequel! it's going to be something else - i just hope Harrisson hasn't made Amelle preggers seeing how damn hot he is for her and uses that to his advantage - i want to see that man brought down to his knees for once - by a woman nonetheless, lol!

Glad to see you back Drogheda, and updating this story. Wow, 6 months later. So glad Harrison's true feelings have been revealed, but I would love to know how they got to this point, what's been happening in the interim, I would be ever so grateful for the gift of a few flashbacks at some point, maybe we can see the point at which Harrison starts to feel so possesive of Amelle, and his almost hatred of the situation that he himself created, also some insight as to how Amelle reconcile's this bargain with the devil, with belief's about fidelity. I know, I am asking alot but this is actually a credit to how much I love your story and these characters, flaws and all.

Just read this and I was hoping that Amelle wouldn't be the country bumpkin in the elite world strung between right and wrong. Being blackmailed by one, with her cold fiance that's not really much better, and completely giving up who she is. All the while despised and looked down on by the rest. Ughh!!
At this point, I'm wondering what it is she saw in David, because he's just like the rest of them. I also don't like the fact that she actually finds fault with herself amongst these vicious, amoral azzholes! Because she's letting these people change her, turn her into something she's not, somehow makes her the most pathetic one of all. Getting into a situation with these jerks, who could care less about her, to where she manages to get blackmailed into becoming a whore for one of them just amazed me. She did it to help save a life, ok, but still. I'm really wanting to see more strength from Amelle in the end here. These people are a trip.

This was extremely rushed. I know you want to finish the story, but rushing through the action was not the way to go about. The story started slow, and now you're rushing towards the denouement. The climax, should have been when Amelle and Harrison first slept together because that was the build up from the beginning. The next few chapters should have been falling actions, showing how the affair was affecting Amelle's life, but you just skipped right over that...
