OMG if you dont write another chapter like....now....im gonna seriously cry. its such a awesome story, and i am in Jack and Lila's corner for them to be together. they are so good for each other(from what i can tell from 5 chapters) and the chemistry between them is electric. in the office, Jack was trying not to sucumb to his yearning for Lila, but she did provoke him. i just want the people who may think that Jack is an inconsiderate, selfish, jerk face see that he does have some good in him
but back to you. lets be cute and add more chapters, yes? that is an awful cliff hanger after the sexy time in Jack's car (which was sizzling bee tee dubbs). so please, for the fans, help us out :D

So now I know why Chase hates Jack so much...he blames Jack for his parents' death AND he's stealing HIS woman. I don't know what happened the night of their parents' death but is Chase's anger justified? What did Jack do? I got that there was something about giving the parents keys (and Jack making Chase give it to them?) Were the parents drunk?
So Jack admits that he IS taking his brother's woman away from him? <--Just don't get how a teenager can lay claim to a woman who's at least 10 years older than him. This is making me feel weird again. And shakes head at two GROWN ASS ADULTS being scared of a BOY that's barely 18. Get help already! Damn.
The scene in the car was hot though....

Jack and Lila are sexy complicated and I love it. Chase, however, is just a hot mess that needs to go off to college and experience being his own person with people his own age. Maybe then he'll establish a better relationship with his brother (distance can work for the better with some relationships) and get over Lila and let her be happy with his brother. It's pretty obvious to me, after reading her conversation with her friend, Tracy that Jack could actually make her happy if she allowed him in her life on a more personal level.
Anyways, I love this fiction, it's amazingly written well with root-worthy characters and depth-something that's not easily found with stories these days. I'm looking forward to more, thanks for writing and sharing -Mel

ITA with JoVanBleu26, Jack is holding a lot of guilt inside for what happened to his parents it seems and that is something he could not have controlled. Chase is holding it over his brother's head to stay angry with him and also to keep him away from Lila and he's doing the same to Lila.
I hope the new girl is a love interest for Chase and maybe he will start to see things in a different light.
Loved the makeout session in the booth and car. Can't wait for more.

This was a great chapter. Jack is slowly falling apart and he so wants to tell Lila and Chase so many things but he can't he doesn't know how to deal or show those emotions. But Chase was wrong with the emotional blackmail and rant about it being Jack's fault that their parents died. Sooner or later Jack and Chase are seriously going to have to talk because Chase carries a lot of resentment against Jack for things he can't control. Jack has a lot of guilt and he needs to share those feeling with others. Lila realizing that she might not have been doing Chase any favors was a big step for her and slowly her being with Jack is opening her eyes to a lot of things. They are good for each other. I laughted at the scene in the car because it was so intense and all I could think was they are going to get into and accident or a cop is going to pull them over. Who new Jack's grandmother would be a cock blocker. LMAO Looking forward to the next chapter.

It's funny how the least mature; Chase...is also the one least likely to bullshit. Yes, him blaming Jack for the parents death seemed a bit harsh but not knowing the backstory...I don't know what to think.
Seriously? Why would you go there on his birthday?
Jack and Lila need to decide to WAIT til after Chase goes away to school to explore this or something like actually being honest about eachother and tell Chase what's up and not act like middle-schoolers passing notes in class.

The more I read, The more I'm starting to dislike Chase. Now he is blaming Jack for their parents dad. How childish can that be. Jack is trying to have some kind of relationship with Chase. But Chase insist on shutting him down. And all of this because of a woman. I don't feel sorry for Chase at all. He is selfish and immature. And why is Jack and Lila so scared of Chase. A 18 year old boy. Jack needs to have a serious conversation with Chase. Give him his part of the story. And if Chase insist on being an ass to him. Then that's his problem. At least he tried!
