I have just reread this story and I still LOVE it!!!! I hope you revisit these characters at some point. No pressure.....I know you have a lot on your plate. I just think that there is so much potential. What with the hypocritical daughter, the wishy-washy sons and sweet, tasty Caleb (YUM), the possibilites are endless.

LOL  You guys keep me on my toes!  It was hard to keep this to three chapters as I recall.  I will never say never, but you're right.  I have a lot going on right now and I need to really work on my incomplete stories and pretty soon I'll be getting my book back for more edits.  But thank you so much for the review!

I like this, it's nice. I would love to see where Caleb and Merri take this. To know how her kids are going to react and how they will react to one another. I'm sure there will be issues with her being an older woman and he a younger man, even though he's in his thirties. Anyway, great story and I enjoyed it. It even had me laughing. Lovely

Brenda, yet another winner; loved this little tale and glad Merri got to feel like a beautiful, desirable woman again!  So happy that they both seem to have feelings for each other; hoping to see these two again, as they definitely have unfinished business!

Love how Merri put her kids in check, especially the ho Tam!  How dare she suggest that because her mother is a 50 year old widow, she doesn't deserve to find love and happiness with another man...smh...

If you do decide to do a sequel, I can see all kinds of problems for them with those knuckle-headed children of hers, especially, that daughter. I wanted to slap her into next week at the way she was talking to her mother. Her mom is a vibrant WOMAN, not just her mother. But she's still young, it took me until I hit my 40s to realize that at one time my mom was a young woman who had hopes and dreams outside of the role of mother. You'd be amazed at what you can learn and how much richer a relationship you could have, if you talked to mom as another woman. And yep, Caleb is wide open for Merri.

This was a really good story, but then again, I love all your stories.
