I'm feeling Micheal's pain, he needs to get out that pent up aggression, he don't have to talk he can let his strokes do all the talking for him. I like this story.

Interesting start when I first started reading I thought of CriminalMinds one of my favorite shows. I like the relationship between Michael and Patrick because Patrick is trying to get his friend to see he isn't living. Doing your job and taking care of your son isn't living. I feel like this first chapter was telling instead of being home with his son, he is working which tells me that he doesn't have that bond with his son that his wife wanted him to have. He's there for him and he loves him but because he is in an emotional state of denial he can't really be the father that his wife asked of him. He loved his wife that if evident in his thoughts but he is stuck in a moment of time that will destroy him.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

For some reason this reminds me of Criminal Minds...when the Reaper killed Hotch's wife..I think it was the opening line. It also seems like a conversation Rossi would have had with Hotch. Is that what inspired you? If so, good job.

The only thing I would say is try to find your voice more because it is starting to sound more like a fanfic han an original piece.. I want to hear you that was inspired by the show not you imposing on it...I hope that makes sense.... anyways. Good luck. Can't wait to see more...
