Title: Chapter 1

Alright, I don't even know where to begin Lol *deep breath* The emotion we see Audrey experience is so raw, and I can't help but adore the way you write with such a guttural tone. I'm a sucker for angst, to be quite honest. Audrey is suffering so much, and we see glimpses of her constant inner turmoil as she tries to complete mundane tasks or interacting with family. I struggle with self-harm and depression myself, so I can totally relate to the scene with the mirror. She wants to be completely invested in the conversation with Sarah, but her mental illness always finds a way to remind her that there is no escape. "...I wonder if the happiness she exudes is just a fabricated one? A façade that rivals my own? Are there secrets germinating beneath her freckled covered skin? Is she just as infested as I am?" Yaaaas, you better write! Lol Those are my favorite lines. Can't wait to meet Cole. Oh, and I couldn't click fast enough when I saw that the banner featured Simon and Alisha My favorite ship. I'll be impatiently awaiting your next update.

The story seems interesting but too much self monologue....just drags the story...try to build the plot without too much introspection but with dialogue and simple description.

How old is she?  This girl will never trust anyone for a long time--before she leaves, she may want to whisper to the mom to watch out for the little girl where 'Dad' is concerned.  Sarah knows what is going on and Rebecca may also know.
