I love this story...I'm glad someone voted to revive it among the book recommendations for the month...such a stellar effort from Ms Jax...it's fun to read the start of Diya's journey...dinner alone on Valentines Day does seem a drag but I admire her courage...

My previous review failed to do justice to the quality work that is you....your focus on hav8nv an actual plot that requires character development, interaction, drama, comedy and even angst make you a master storyteller imo. .I come back to your stories again and again because you get me hooked, like totally invested...when I first read this one, I totally hoped hard for a sequel...you craft beautiful romance where I can feel the characters falling in love...and sex is hardly the impetus that brings lovers together...it is typically a show of emotion that cements the relationship that you have crafted...with so many authors focusing on sex as the tool to bring.a couple together, it's rare to see the true creative genious that is you, Me Jax...

Agh! I have been reading the sequel and I noticed I skipped over this one! So worth the read and so lovely. Gah! I wish I could find a love like this. How amazing.

In my experience, Black people in the UK consider themselves their ancestral country of origin (i.e. Nigerian, Ghanaian, etc.), but I know better than to believe that to be universal.  Both are moot points since the story is being told by an American Black woman passively referring to her brother-in-law (in a grammatically correct manner being that he is a native of England), not a Black man from the UK discussing what he or other Black people from the region prefer to be called.

I didn't realize that was it.  I need more. I live in Houston and  the hurricane season is approaching. I need  her to find bachlor #3 and find out how many times  can you  recycle  the water and should I stored it in a glass or plastic container.  I wanted to know more about Brandon. It can't be over   What are you doing to me? Typical JJ....driving me crazy.... and just when this last little patch of hair on my head was starting to grow

LOL!!!  You and Bachelor No. 3.  His knowledge could definitely come in handy around here.  You know these people be ready to pull a switch blade over a bottle of Evian the second there's even a twitch of something in The Gulf.

If Brandon and Diya give me something decent to work with, I will happily put fingers to keyboard and post.  In the meantime, you can grow your snatch patch back.  ; )

Girl, you had me dying laughing.  Bachelor #3 was too much and her reaction when he told her about how he recycles water was so funny. I would have done the same thing. Glad he shared that little tidbit before the goodnight kiss.   I know I'm going to really enjoy this story also.  Did I ever  tell you that you are a really good writer. I feel guilty sometimes reading your stories for free. Trust me,  if I saw your name  on a published book I would buy it without any hesitation

I made the mistake of reading this chapter while eating water-boiled fish atop rice and green beans and promptly almost choked when I read this gem:

"Exhibit A sat lodged in his mouth.  Though the closest I’d ever come to lessons in BDSM was reading the first two pages of the literary tragedy that is Fifty Shades of Grey, I was pretty sure the bright red ball gag belonged in my mouth."

I howled. I'll have to finish eating and return to the story. Now, I might choke trying to shovel the food in. hee

this story really is Beyond words. Your writing is so fabulous, that while reading, I could feel the attraction Diya and Brandon had for each other through the screen. YOU ARE ABSOMUTELY FANTASTIC!!! As much as I would love a Rich story, it would be beyond amazing if you continued this, it's just too perfect not to explore!
