So Marisol the eternal victim is Brandon first love! What the hades and this will hurt or break Diya and Brandon apart. If Diya and Brandon are going to be together Marisol and the brats need to go, as for Diya family they also need to go. I truly believe Brandon love Diya but he allow his-self to be friend with this toxic person( Marisol), and Marisol is using her children to keep Brandon in the loop. I also feel for Brandon. I can see why after the drama that went down at the De La Roy’s home, he would have doubts in his confidence in Diyas dedication to their relationship. In his eyes, he probably feels like she won’t take a stance against her family. He also may feel a built guilty of making her choose. There may be something additional hidden in his past that’s making him feel like they won’t make it. Also, let’s face it, with daddy De La Roy messin’ with his money, that would make anyone wanna cut a mufcka! 😠🤨

You hit the nail of the head on all accounts. Diya and Brandon are both struggling, with Diya going it alone (Zeria has her own later-to-be-revealed drama). Whether she's ready for it or not, being with Brandon means being without her family. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean William is done messing with Brandon and his money. So long as he and Diya are together, he's a target--a fact which will have a definite effect on their relationship.
Brandon and Diya both need to to put all their cards on the table. Question is, are either of them ready for what the whole truth will mean for them going forward...if they can (dun-dun-dun : D).

Wow. My heart goes out to Diya. She has absolutely nobody in her court that she can confide in. Not sure if she can rely too much on Zeria, as we haven’t heard much from her since the beginning of their story. No family, no friends, no Brandon (and not just no Brandon, but he’s playing the role of daddy and partner to another woman and her 3 kids!). Very lonely space. I think she and Brandon need to have a serious “all cards on the table” discussion about their relationship. Given there’s so much at stake, (i.e their own relationship, her family relationship, all the BS that Diya’s parents are throwing at Brandon and his livelihood, etc), they need to be open about everything.
At some point, she also needs to have one with her family about her feelings. Stand her ground and not be so dependent on them (get another job). Maybe if she shows some independence, the others may follow.
Now, I wonder whose rescue is Brandon coming to AGAIN?!?! More drama!
As always, I can’t wait for the next update!

Diya needs to grow a pair, her father and the rest of the family are very dysfunctional and co-dependent upon one another. Her dad gives me the creeps...if he can't have their love, this man ignores them and he has divided them on purpose. The sisters cannot count on support from one another. I thought her dad admired Diya strength and her mom was jealous, but something is not right with this family.
Diya needs to cut the cord, get some counseling, and move on. Her dad is out to ruin her man and his friends, and if she can't find a backbone then Diya should move back home and continue the sister wives saga.
Brandon, Brandon, Brandon...go to seattle, get your head straight on if Diya is worth the trouble, she was a few chapters back, but now... Brandon ccannot continue to be Marisol white knight. Her kids are taking cues from her and clinging to him... hint: they do not see him as an Uncle.
This BBQ fight and Brandon's choice will be clear to Diya.

Creating some physical and emotional distance from family, friends, and even each other is probably a good idea for both Brandon and Diya. But the chances of that lasting very long are slim to none. Okay I did a re-read, I want Diya and Brandon to go away for a few days and talk. Diya needs to find another job away from that bastard of a father. I so want Diya and Brandon to come together and set boundaries with family and so called friends (Marisol). Time away and some clearly defined boundaries are definitely in order, but hard to come by for two people who are so invested in the their family and friends. And then there's the matter of the bombs William dropped at Sunday dinner and the effect of Diya's reaction to them. More on that to come.
