Kora is feisty! It's good but he was actually being kind to her before the slap. She's kind of at his mercy. She was trying his patience not patients since patients are people. And you made a mistake so common for writers in that you used there when they're (as in they are) would be correct. I don't know why that mistake is so common but I think these auto-correct features are to blame. Good story...I am glad Kora is keeping her dignity in such a frightful situation. I hope we get to learn more about Veles.

Great keeps getting better he's come to get her. Has a put a spell on her to sleep while turning from a Dragon to a Man.She intrigues him & he's attracted to her body but wonders about her eyes. Why is he in a hurry to take her way. What's the peril besides the cold. Are others maybe wanting her also. Can't wait for the next installment this is really good.

Really good story, so far! I can't wait to read more. I hope that the next chapters will be longer though, short chapters are nice but after a while I get frustrated and lose interest in the story.
