Well aside from the fact this story needs major editing, I actually like the story. It has gotten me hooked so I want to know when the next chapter will be posted? Its been a long time since its been updated.

How do you go from treating someone like shit and telling them that you love them? Ron is a trip!!! I am so glad that he told Laurie about herself and put her parents in their place as well. I can see why Laurie was a bitch especially because her parents are both asswholes!!! This was a great update.

wow. i just have to tell you that i absolutely love this story. ron is such a bitch. but an understand-able (LOL) bitch. hes bitter for a reason and its all because of his shitty and cheating excuse for an ex-wife! how dar she embarass him and marissa and then have the audacity to have him try and put on a facade for her parents when she was the one in the wrong?! i was sooo glad when ron called her out and i was even more glad when he put her father on blast as well. like father like daughter i suppose? but marissa is the sweetest person in the world and i love her. when she stood up to ron that first time in his office, i wanted to cheer for her. and when she let him spend the nite, drunk, i was so elated by her compassion and kindness. because i dnt know if i couldve done the same. but then again, she does like him?

Ron is something else, that's all I can say about him for now.
I don't think that Marissa is ready for Ron. Or is it that Ron isn't ready for Marissa. He's too jaded and she's too trusting. A whole lot of drama and heartache.

I enjoyed this update!
I was wondering why the hell Ron had agreed to take part in that ultra-stpid farse that Laurie cooked up. I see that between Oliver's chat," Marissa's absence and the actual phony-ass dinner, he managed to reclaim his pair.
However, I really don't see why he and Marissa are even attracted to each other. He needs to work on himself... be single again for a while and she needs someone like an Oliver in her life.
He's baaack! Jeeze, is Ron a good mood killer, or what? Marissa needs to check before opening her door. I do hope that he isn't drunk again. That wouldn't be making a good impression or showing her any more respect than he has so far.
The next chapter should be rather interesting...
Hmmm... Sweet old ladies love to meddle. What's the story on Mrs. Peterson's grandson???

I just love this story. I would love to hear a little back story regarding how Ron fell in love with her. I seems a little instant, presto to me. I see his wife has known something was up, but we just aren't see how he came to love Marissa. Anyways I adore this story-keep up the great work.
