That was longer than a heartbeat.

Instead of being beaten to death, her mother offered up her most precious item, her virgin daughter. She was sold into human trafficking. While her journey is better than most, it's still a tough one. Sometimes, things happen for a reason. You must endure the darkest of hours before you can see the sunshine.
