Wow, said that Robin died but glad he was honest with Ruth. Glad Gabe stood strong against Beth and her seductive ways. Glad she settled down with Bobby. Wow, all the kids are growing up, hope they don't become too wild or get into any major problems. Loving this story so far.

Wow!! I found this story, started reading, and didn't stop until the end of chapter five. What a great story.
From the beginning, Abe's baby was a miracle, left behind by his beloved wife so that he wouldn't be alone. What a sad, sad life it was too. Salomi has such spirit, smarts, and sass. Sometimes a little too much. Abe is simple and naive in his unsophistication. I fear that it will be his undoing. What a way to make a better living for yourself and your daughter.
This story has a smooth, easy flow in telling the tale of lives lived in such a simple depressing time.
I'm hooked. I don't know where your storytelling is taking us, but I'll be alone for the ride.
