Oh, please, Suzette! If blood does not make two women behave as sisters are supposed to toward one another, then, of course, marriage is not a contender either. And Thaddeus does not like Serena because he does not like her. There is little to like about her, if there is anything at all, from what I can see.
Evidence? Lol. She's on her Chris Hansen game.
I noticed this last chapter and I now feel like like I should say something. “Honey” is repeatedly misspelled as “Huney.” Also apostrophes are missing from words like you're, don't and it's.
As far as Ella goes, she is playing the victim. Her situation is one of being bullied and it will continue if she does nothing to stop it.
Sasha's drug habit and her consequent outburst should confirm for Ella what we already know, those three women will never be her family. Thaddeus seems like a good guy, I just hope there are more layers to him than we have seen thus far. I want to know more about him.

I don't know too many men that drink apple martinis. Or martinis at all for that matter - and still have romantic interests in women. ^_^ Sounds like I'm stereotyping men, straight and gay alike, but I'm not. All the men I know take their liquor straight or with Pepsi, none of that fruity stuff. It's just food for thought.

Happily Ever After does not sound like the name for a club, it sounds like the name for one of those “massage” parlors that are always in the news, lol. Something Suzette would come up with, though, huh? Speaking of the Dragon lady, she's a bit of a callous bitch. I don't like her one bit, but I'm not supposed to. She is the evil stepmother, after all. Thaddeus is nice, and I loved the bit about Esmee Denters, that girl can sing her behind off. I love her.
I wonder why Ella didn't move down to Malibu with her Mother's family? It hasn't been long since they saw her. That's all that confused me about this chapter.
It's sad what happened to her Dad. Purple Rain, though? I liked the cover, lol, at least. Prince's crazy tail.

Oh I guess I didnt explain it well enough. When her mother died, she wanted to be with her father and when he died, he wanted Suzzette to take care of her and be close by but that didnt work out did it? Sorry about the confusion.
I LOVE PRINCE! LMAO! Its my favorite movie and album of his so I had to put that in there :)

Really liking this story and really love Belle. It just saddens me that Ella doesn't have enough backbone or guts to put those heffas in their places. I get the feeling that money doesn't matter to her so there really isn't anything stopping her or is it? BTW, how does her father look, just curious is all.

Loved the update but how the heck was Suzette allowed to do something like that??? Is there no hope for Ella??? Why is it Suzette is allowed to get away controlling Ella's life like that??? Can Ella not fight for her rights as an adult??? Does Ella not have any other family members????

Hmmm..not sure why Ella should give a good damn about Suzzette hating for if she leaves, the woman already shows complete contempt for her as it is. She needs to find a lawyer and get her money back. And what about her father's family anyway? Where are they at?

I'm with Thad, why doesn't she quit??? Look for a job elsewhere??? They're not her true family and obviously don't like her. Doesn't she have a little money saved??? The stress of dealing with her "family" isn't worth it. She's just their maid. Loved the update.
