Oh, please, Suzette! If blood does not make two women behave as sisters are supposed to toward one another, then, of course, marriage is not a contender either. And Thaddeus does not like Serena because he does not like her. There is little to like about her, if there is anything at all, from what I can see.

I noticed this last chapter and I now feel like like I should say something. “Honey” is repeatedly misspelled as “Huney.” Also apostrophes are missing from words like you're, don't and it's.
As far as Ella goes, she is playing the victim. Her situation is one of being bullied and it will continue if she does nothing to stop it.
Sasha's drug habit and her consequent outburst should confirm for Ella what we already know, those three women will never be her family. Thaddeus seems like a good guy, I just hope there are more layers to him than we have seen thus far. I want to know more about him.

I'm with Thad, why doesn't she quit??? Look for a job elsewhere??? They're not her true family and obviously don't like her. Doesn't she have a little money saved??? The stress of dealing with her "family" isn't worth it. She's just their maid. Loved the update.
