I opened this with the intention to quickly just 'take a peak' and read it tomorrow evening when I have more time to read...but what can I say...I'm hooked...this is so good...love Kendal and Keoni's 'voices' already...now I can hardly read fast enough...I think I'm already in love...reading on...and thanks for sharing Renee...

Ok what..are you trying to make me cry Na Na!! I was so excited about the ending..them finding love and what their lives were like afterwards. That took me totally by surprise but it was beautiful!!
I am kinda sad that his life ended..I think it is good we do not know when or if they had a life together after the prom ..that is for our imaginations..but we do know they loved each other their entire lives...that is what is most important!!They shared love...

Ahh ha!! The tables have turned!! Is this the first sparks of young love on the horizon..I'd say yes it is and it is so sweet and refreshing!!
I love reading her thoughts and interactions with her friends..they are so spot on and perfectly suited for that academic teenager.
I really like Kendal..smart/pretty and quick wit!! I think once Keo realizes what catch his best friend is things may change in the relationship dept..
I am loving this sweetie..it is perfect!!

Ok but I screamed out loud at this part." He's got a mop of sandy hair that needs a haircut and chicken legs that jut out from khaki shorts. I'm sure he'll grow into them one of these days. But for now, he is so ugly and annoying and mean. I can barely keep myself from pushing him down ....this sounds just like something a pre teen little tomboy girl would say..lol..Ok theire mothers could be me and my neighbors sad..but true lol!!
You captured their thoughts and emotions perfectly..
You can tell they are talking about themselves growing up so I know it will all work out but I am anxious to see how they arrive at their final destination of love!!

OMG!!!!, in certain parts especially chapter 1 and 2 I laughed me silly. cut when it came to the end i cried like really emotionally. How could you end it like that? that was soooooooo mean man. I wanted a happily ever after. Im assuming he diedwhen they were in the late 80's or 90's because then they still built a life together and had cerished moments but if its before like after or during high school it will and is cruel.

Author's Response: Oh, I'm sorry Leila! I struggled with the ending, believe me. I debated about it but something told me this was the right ending for them. I didn't really make it time exclusive. I wanted it to be more ambiguous so you feel like these are just two young people finding and losing love. It could happen to anyone, ya know? I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
