now that was just a great scene with Sam putting Maya to bed.  I really do hope that Sam plays this smart when it comes to Tara.  She has done a great job at getting her life together and he can not try to take that away from her.

Well, that went a lot better than I thought it would. I am happy that Sam and Tara are open and that Sam wants to commit to her. But I am kind of sad that Tara doesn't want to commit with him, but I understand what she means by not starting a huge step to cover over a beautiful mess (their baby)

You have so made me love Sam and Tara with this story.  I just hope that Sam plays this smart.  He wants 'that' family.  He knows that Tara is so stubborn.  So don't push but be there for both of them and they will see what kind of man he really is.

I'm so glad you didn't make Sam's reaction to the news of his instant parenthood over-the-top...if I could change one thing about Season 3 was how the writers took a sharp turn to the left with his character...his reaction was 'real'...from the shock, anger, to the fierce protectiveness and love he feels for his little girl...thanks so much for that...and he's right...if Maya is a shifter...then she will need guidance...something Sam was deprived of growing up...and having to fend for himself...I love the cliff-hanger...will she or won't she...I believe it will be Maya who will force her parents to confront their feelings for each other...can't wait to see what happens next...this is getting soooo good...loving this story...please update soon...

I had a HUGE problem with the writing in Season 3 and not just with how they did Sam. This story is AU, so in my personal canon Sam didn't fire at Tommy, he didn't beat Calvin Norris to a blood pulp, and he didn't shoot a man to death in cold blood.
