You set the stage for lunch at Auntie Vie....I think that a situation could be set up where Tara almost finds out about Sam being a SS. It could be a connection between marvin martin and Sam - maybe a playful romp through teh woods after lunch or something. Anyway....people start hiding things from tara, she becomes suspicious and puts sam on teh spot where he has to say something. Tara freaks out runs to lafayette or sookie. meanwhile Sam gives up thinking he has been abandoned again....

I am hoping that tara happens to be driving by in the convertible right after Sam shoots Tommy between the eyes and that he jumps into the car and run off to sort things out! I dont care what the books say but if they mess with Sam or Tara or Lafayette, thats IT for me and TB. The main characters are so boring right now (Sookie Eric and Bill) and its the satellite and made up outside of teh book characters that are carrying the show. they ahd just better not touch merlotte and his fine narrow ass in those jeans!

Jan once again you ahev delivered! It was worth the wait! Sam mashing up teh dancefloor was fabulous ( would ahev liked him grooving to some Vybz Krtel or Shabba Ranks) but he surprised Tara.....and yes ....i did lose it! LOVED the play off of the dream episode and the getting up frightened! Girl you are hitting all the right notes. Dont want to rush you or anything but pleeeeeease keep it coming! Hey and dont make this story too short either! LOLOLOL!

Hold it down Jamican! Girl keep it coming! make haste with Chapter 11. I am reading it over and I am noting the changes. Girl i dont know how people can like Eric's character. He is arrogant duplicitous decitful evil an opportunist and between you and me him no look that good at all! I am sorry mih car see it! I much prefer Sookie and Bill togethr maybe becuase iIam old fashioned. Bill made mistakes but there is no doubt that he really loves sookie. But she is such an idiot she will most likely go do something impetuously dotish......again....like hook up with Eric! I only hope she doesnt come anywhere near our Sam!

Me too! Old fashioned that is. I would much rather Sookie/Bill to stay together. I know they haven't been checking each other for a while in those Sooke Stackhouse Southern Vampire book series, but, I just hope somehow they'll end up together again. They have so much history and Bill loves her to bits.
As for the TrueBlood series, I hope Alcide and Eric will be there to help keep that Sookie busy and away from our Sam. I wonder if Sam will have any new love interests in the next season 4. I hope not. If it were up to me, it would be TAM all the way!! (kinda shows eh?)
In any case, I just hope Tara will be returning in Season 4, especially when she drove off to 'God knows where' at the end of season 3.

Girl I would love to pass it on but EVERYONE is fixated on Eric and whether he and Sookie woill get together. I cant STAND Eric! if I leave teh show it would be because those 2 hooked up! I agree that there is so few Sam and Tara fics out there. So many people are calling for her to die or be axed which is so sad as she is a pivotal character in the show and she and sam have so much chemistry! I am dying for them to hook up on the show. I think with sam and tara and jessica and Hoyt together things will go well. If not I have you Fatjan to make my fantasy come true! Your story is the best! Girl hurry up and post the next bit! (my apologies for being so crass, but hell-to-the-no if they dare think about taking off our Rutina). I agree, the best couples are Sam/Tara and Jessica/Hoyt. Period!!

Oh, BTW, I've been updating and tweeking the past chapters, especially Chpt.10 - Living a Lie where I've just added a piece about Sam having a flashback to when he was a teen & getting in trouble along with Marvin. Chpt. 8 - Robinson's Screw with a tiny addition of him comparing Tara to strippers (not that he is a regular at these clubs).

I loved how you brought the emotion in this chapter...Tara is finally starting to believe that she 'deserves' happiness...what a refreshing take on her character...I've always thought of Tara as this fragile little flower with thorns...the thorns were there to protect her from the unknown...every time she tries to let anyone close...her insecurities (and frankly its quite realistic considering she's a child of abuse) keeps everyone at bay...yet, she's finally taken that leap of faith and is trying to allow someone in sans mind control...Sam...I really think the True Blood writers missed the boat on this very important aspect of the Tara/Sam dynamic...they are IMHO two peas from the very same pod...the connection they share is strong...yet, the show insists on showing mostly the physical and not so much the emotional bond these two characters share...that's what I meant by them needing work on the emotional plane...physically they are great together...but I thank you for exploring the much more deeper and dare I say it...but interesting level of their connection...their emotions...can't wait to see them 'dating' and getting to really know each other...

I'm a big fan of True Blood although I don't get why Tara and Sam had sex despite the fact that Sam is in love with Sookie.

In the show, after Sam realized that he couldn't have Sookie, he moved on and when Tara presented herself to him in season 1, ep. 3, he then went along with being her 'friend with benefits' That's how. In any case, I think he's way better off without Sookie and if it were up to me, he'd be with Tara.

I am an absolute Sam/Tara shipper though I admit that sometimes I crave for Tara/Eric or Tara/Alcide, but that is just a dream that will never come true. :{ Anyways, I love this story! :D Love it, love it, love it! I love your spin on it. Just like in the show, Tara and Sam need each other in your story. They both come from such screwed up backgrounds and want to change, but they need each other's support to do it!
