Brandy, Brandy, Brandy...what are you doing here, babe...trying to push Maks back into the "friend" zone...who are you kidding here...I can understand being reserved...but to not even bother contacting the man in TWO WEEKS...now, she has me thinking that maybe she's not that serious about him even though she keeps telling Maks she loves him...but how...as "friend" or as the man she's madly in love with...okay...so I know they needed a breather...but I didn't expect her to completely blow him off like that...
Joan was a nice surprise...I'm glad Maks has positive people in his corner and wants him to be happy...hmmm, maybe it will take Brandy seeing him in a few paparazzi photos out and about to wake her up...but knowing Brandy...she'll probably take that as a hint that Maks wasn't really being serious about her...
Can't wait for the catalyst to get this ball in motion again...looking forward to the next update...love this story!!!

Brandy is really frustrating me. I understand she doesn't want to move fast in their relationship but come on. Why did she wait two weeks to make contact with Maks? Hopefully she can show more respect for their friendship/relationship by putting more effort into it.
I'm feeling like Maks right about now. Hopefully I can take Joan advice and have a little bit more patience towards Brandy.

I agree with you, but remember Brandy has been through alot, and Maks doesn't have the best reputation. I'm surprised know one has yet to ask me does Brandy know about Joan. Well only time will tell. Thank you for your feedback. Please continue to R&R.

You are so right. I wasn't expecting that Joan would be so caring. I'm glad Brandy told Maks how she feels instead of avoiding him. Maks still cares for her and now I hope he heeds Joans advice. Very well done, Nakia!

I was wondering if you were going to add Joni Kilmurry to the mix, lol.
I think that Maks/Brandy should talk more on the phone...too bad it took two weeks for them to reconnect. I think he should visit her in L. A. and instead of just intense sex why not real dates/excursions (though the papparazi is watching)? More quality time spent together...outside of the bedroom. Though I love reading their love scenes. I think or at least hope that Brandy will come to the realization very soon that she could potentially lose him...so she needs to get herself together...you know with her all of her issues. He did come on too strong and I can definitely understand her fear. He is pulling back a little and I can see he is struggling. I love when a man loves a woman but Brandy is just too high strung and for some reason can't go into this full throttle...hopes she figures it out and overcomes it soon. I do get the feeling that he might not wait a long time for her to come around. Perhaps it might take him moving on (not necessarily with another woman) for her to see how important he is to her...or maybe it might take him getting...(well not sure what angle you are going for)...
I've been waiting for this update all day...can't wait to see where this story ultimately goes....

Yeah i had to add her, but I wanted to change the spelling of her first and last names and i didn't want to add her real pic. Yeah Brandy is a little hig strung, but she doesn't want to get hurt. Love the update and hope Joan was sincere. Still not feeling Brandy too much for now. She's like a child and can't seem to make up her mind about what she wants. She needs to put Maks out of his misery if she's not sincere. Trust is a two way street....she can't have her cake and eat it too. Its like she's dangling him on a string.
Author's Response: i guess we will have to wait to see if Ms. Joan was sincere. I know Brandy is a bit much, but she is coming from a place of emotional wreckage. I'm trying to be patient with girlfriend, but she gets on my nerves to (lol)! However, i don't believe she is intentionally trying to hurt Maks. thanks for R&R. Be blessed!

That was not the reaction that I had expected Joan to have, I glad that she truly cares about Maks. Have said how much I love me some Maks? Loving this story!!!
Author's Response: I wanted to express that not all beautiful women are bitchy and stuck on themselves. Joan wants Maks to be happy, even if it means him being with someone else.
