Still reading and enjoying the story, but once again the reactions to some situations... Come across unrealistic.
1. Rachel said "I HAVE to meet his wife and daughters." Do any of these women (Georgina and Rachel) have backbones? The husband was at fault, he starte an affair with a student, the girl was young and stupid, BUT she wasn't the one that said vows to his wife. It is really annoying when characters reactions are not the norm. Rachels's part should had said, "He wants me to meet his wife and daughters."
2. Please have Rahcel and Hulk get together. Yeah the sperm donor wants to get to know the child he wanted aborted. Please do not let the cheating husband try to get custody...

The story has promise, but I kind of saw Celeste's betrayal coming... But George forgiving her... so unrealistic. Now my I'm pissed for the main character being so weak and a patsy to her family. See right there, I would be done with the controlling mom, deaf, mute, and dumb dad, and sneaky backstabbing sister. This does not sound like a 'real sista's (yes, I meant sista' and not sister) reaction to this mess. But then I'm a Black American woman reading a Black British woman's take on her somewhat twisted family dynamics. Now this is a hard read for me.

I hope that Celeste wakes up from this tired notion of marry the asswipe and has not slept with the cockroach.
Cockroach is just slimmy and I am sure he knew about Ro's affection for Celeste and again doesn't care about anyone but himself.
Granny and Grandpa were a trip in their take on the matter and a hit is no doubt out on the cockroach we all love to hate it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I hope Ro get's the girl he seems like a very nice and loving guy and a cutie to boot.
I think Evilene was talking about Andrew being one of the men that is viving for her attention what a joke if only she knew

Hmmm! Hulk and Rach who'd a thunk it yeah right you could feel the connection right off the pages.
Celeste I have to give it to her has some nerve. I like little sister and maybe in the past Georgie would have given in to her weakness but really though really did she think she would attend a wedding of her ex-fiance and sister come on now she can't be that naive and stupid.
Serene hmmm I just don't know about her I know Georgie she has a heart of gold but I don't know and I think she knows some gossip on Patrick but just hasn't recalled it yet.

Why in the world is Celeste so gong ho on marrying this cockroach? She only hit the surface as to her not being Georgie and what she perceives her as being perfect and dismisses her faults apparently.
Celeste is only 21 still impressionable and I think her mother has a great influence on her and Patrick see that he can take avantage of that and she is not going to give him any problems and be the good little wife that her mother has programmed her to be.

Love it! George's grandmother and grandfather are the best. I usually hate repeating dialogue that's just been read, but "Are you making funs?" And then there's the prerequisite mention of the Heavenly Father. Quality!

Have spent the last hour and a half reading this instead of studying.
I don't know how many variations you can get on the word amazing, so I'll stick to that word and repeat it many times over. This story is amazing, amazing, amazing! Love George and her narration, she is such a cool chick! I love all the characters in this story too.

George and Andrew are so cute together. I can tell they really like each other. I do love the moments when its just them so I'm anticipating more of that. Its cute how he got jealous when he heard Rohan's name though. And George catching him naked . . . priceless! Lol, nothing like a nice pair of buns.
Grandma Priscilla is hilarious! I'm Ghanaian but I can just imagine this. Heard the exaggerations so many times. You wanna laugh but you have to shut up, otherwise they'll tell you that you don't respect. But I totally agree with her grandparents.
Rachel and Hulk are so shy. They should get over their nervousness and go for it. I hope she calls him. I'm happy that she took Prince to see her family and his father. It's not easy to just allow others to be all over him when its always been the two of them, but its great, if only for Prince to know who his father is, his mom's family, and to build a relationship with them.
I really hope that Celeste will wisen up and see Patrick for who he really is . . . the devil! And I really want Rohan to build up the courage to confess his feelings for her and reveal that it is him that knows her inside out rather than Patrick. The longer he waits, the more hurt and late it will be.

Patrick is a damn snake. All this time he was getting his knowledge about Celeste from Rohan. What a fool! I feel bad that Celeste is so naive and oblivious to see that this is clearly a one-sided relationship. I do feel bad for Rohan, but he should have had the balls to tell Celeste how he feels.
Andrew and George are so cute. He's utterly smitten with her.
I'm glad that Hulk wants to work things out with Rachel despite everything that happened before they met.
Serena spells trouble to me. She seems very sheisty. Elizabeth just needs to get away, really. If the two of them could just join Patrick and all walk on a busy highway, my life would be complete, lol.

Rohan makes sense now. I couldn't understand his behavior when George met Patrick at the bar. I'm not too sure I like Serena, that was a bitch move bringing Liz to the house. Can't wait for the next update.
