Hmm....at first I thought Em was just being a little chicken and overly dramatic with resigning. I still might, however, I could see where she would need to put some distance between herself and the family to sort it all out. She has alot to think about. She now has to evaluate her relationship with Sebastian, herself as a friend, and her own judgment in general.

she will not be resigning. I'll say it again, Bas needs to step up as well. We keep saying that she was blind to what was right in front of her, but he needs to man up and tell her how he feels. He needs to make his feeings known as well, with the dress she will be wearing it will be a night to remember for them.

I am so loving this story.  She didn't say that she felt nothing for him nor did she say she didn't return his feelings.  She also wasn't consumed with thoughts of Nick.  Em is just confused.
