This was really beautiful. I've watched a few clips from Season 4 while I anxiously await for it to begin on SyFy in January. I've been more disturbed by the fan backlash than what's happened on the show. We all know the story of King Arthur and typically what happens...they are setting it up for happily ever after instead of the terrible end Queen Guinevere got in the legends...Arthur just conflicted and your fic showcased that wonderfully...in some many ways he's an uncertain little boy...instead of the strong king he's expected to be. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. I visit several Merlin sites and that's usually the complaint that there is not enough character development for Arthur and Merlin and not enough proper usage of Morgana and Gwen. I think with any TV show it's always hit and miss. Just how much can you do with 45 minutes and 22 or 13 episodes. Thanks again for reviewing.
