Yay, it's finally up. Great beginning, I loved it. I thought it was hilarious Van was trying to have sex with Ryan *gags* and Todd kept interrupting by calling her phone to ask about cheese logs lol I can't wait to see how Todd gets Van back. I liked the flashback and loved Todd and Eva's banter. I definately can't wait for more.

But this was excellent, I loved that Ryan was her sex toy and got huffy when she took the call. Todd is funny as hell and I liked the set up, flash back juxposition of the chapter.

That was a great beginning, BlackMamba! The witty banter between Todd and Evangeline is so dead on and sexy. I love couples who banter. The text messages are priceless and something Todd would do just to be annoying and also shows that he knows nothing of food outside of beer, chips and what you can find at Carlotta's diner.
He laughed. "You know, you're kind of mean when no one's looking." Todd leaned forward, placing both hands on her desk. She shifted her eyes to his face and raised an eyebrow. "I see you, Evangeline Williamson."
Yes. Evangeline is mean, and she used to do it when people were looking when she first came on the show. I can't wait to read more.

Isn't that like our man Todd annoying Evangeline at the most unopportune moments! and her being patient enough to answer him! If I were Ryan I would have walked out because you end up getting caught up in the game between these two. They always start off with a back and forth with some strong resistance in between...but of course you know I LOVE IT! AS I LOVE THEM!

Okay, this made me realize that I should delve more into the Todd/Vangie fics on this site. I love this! :) Love their rapport; love also the casting, particularly Ryan because I think he is a total beefcake...just DUMB and USEable. LOL. I've never seen two weeks notice, but I recognize the feature. I love how his text messages kept interrupting her liason with Ryan. LOL. Okay, looking forward to more of this. :) Oh yeah, your mention of Max Holden...*sighs* those were the good ole days of OLTL. Can't wait to hear from Vickers!!! :)

Great first chapter Black. Poor Evangline, just wanting to get some and Todd just keep on blowing up her phone. Funny scene too. Aww, Evangeline decides to quit working for Todd when her date bail on her. But we all know that isn't going to be the last of Todd and Evangeline. I loved your flashback Black with setting-up the events of how Todd and Evangeline became employer and employee. I can't wait to see how Todd keeps his lady lawyer besides him.
