I sat on my iPhone last night and read every single chapter with glee. It is very rich in detail, which I LOVE above all else. Your ability to totally bring an environment as unfamiliar to me as "The Bay" realistically and dynamically is awesome.
While at times the dialogue confuses me (I guess that you were writing the Bay accent) you got to the meat of the story quickly and the emotional tension and tenderness between Celia and Joshua is palpable. Great work, can't wait to read more!!

Thanks for the observation because I'm trying my best to allow the readers to see part of the environment. The dialogue is an English clean up of the real Creole version. The real language is much more complicated...sorry for the confusion...:)

I love how Celia politely told Amy she wasn't doing anything for her. It was a breaking you down in a nice way type of thing.
I can't wait for these two to admit their feelings, but I hope the news of Joshua doesn't hurt them.

The feelings they have for each other has always been there. It's just that their lives...so different. If you were married wouldn't you be afraid to complicate your life any further? Thats the question Celia asks herself. As for Joshua again hmmm...

This story is really interesting...hopefully Amy doesn't get to talk to Sara Brodie about Celia and discover that she had a relationship (if you could call it that) with Jonathan in the past.

Great update Chocolate. I love that Jonathan when out and spend time with he friends. He needed that. I'm also glad to hear from Joseph. I see he is making grounds from the captian. I hope it will be good for Joseph. Jonathan father is coming back and I know that will not set well with everybody involed in his meaniness. I have to laugh at Jonathan and Amy and then I wanted to hit Amy for calling Sara name out. Jonathan had the right to go off on her and defend Celia. Aww, Celia and Jonathan are reconnection. I can just see that things are going to be the same for them anytime soon. Great as always Chocolate.

Yeah Jonathan usually retreats to his friends when he and his wife have 'issues'. It sure won't sit well with everybody when Mr. Mean returns especially Celia. For some ladies the best defense against a man in a war of words is to stick him with something that sends an immediate chill up his spine...;) Clearly she doesn't know anything about Celia and could care less if it did. Reconnection is that a good or bad thing? hmmm...LOL!!!
