Is Jonathan about to meet his son for the first time?? I can't imagine him being very angry. It seems like he'll be more upset and disappointed in himself. Besides, I thought he knew about Joshua.

Wow, i just love this chapter Chocolate. You just making me fall so hard for Jonathan and Celia. Their talks are like gold to me in this story. Thank goodness that Amy was found out by Jonathan and he is sending her away. But why do I have a feeling they she will try something before everything is said and done. Now Chocolate, I know that you had Celia worried on how Jonathan will reacted about little Joshua, but didn't Jonathab knew about Joshua in 'Slav' when he was talking to Drake or this is a rewrite about Jonathan knowing about Joshua?!? Great update dear and I can't wait to see what will happen next. It seems like we make get some heat in the next chapter. :D

thanks for the chapter, i love jonathan and celia, they are in love, amy making her walk backfired, it gave celia and jonathan some alone time, i hate amy, i am so glad he is sending her off and he found out she drugged him, i can`t wait for him to find out about his son, he and celia are growing closer, i love it,

Okay, why is every word I am reading from Jonathan and Celia is making me say "Damn"? I'm sorry but they'd had to chop my head off, cut a leg or hang me because I would have been with this man. Plus, Jonathan is not dumb, he knew something was wrong with that unexpected fake night of bliss with Amyho. Ahh, and Celia and Jonathan are just openly flirting with each other, well not openly but they are flirting. You know, Chocolate, you're not helping me out here by having Johnny Depp be Jonathan....((sighs)) LOL. Johnny Depp has always been fine and sexy. I love this story, I REALLY do.

Remember Vie this was the 19th century when you had to deal with victorian etiquette and sensibilities. Plus Celia does have the added burden of being married and the biggest two reasons black and below his station. Jonathan does not want to take her down that road again because of what happened the last time. Celia is fearful and she has a right to be...she has to think about Jonathan being married and Joshua as well...

Yes she still loves and it is obvious he cares for her. I wonder is he sending that cow off so he can try and get back in Celia's good graces. I wonder when I know she will) tell him about his son. I really don't think he will be angry but I do think he needs to know about his son.This story gets better and better each chapter. I got my fingers crossed for a happy ending for our kids but it will not be easy and w/o some heartache!!

The feelings have always remained because circumstances beyond their control tore them apart. Its hard not to think about that love that was lost. So they went on with life married people whom society said that they should marry but Joshua is the child that binds them together forever regardless of what anyone wants to believe. You are correct in saying that someone will get hurt.

I know this is supposed to be a romance btwn Celia and Jonathan but I swear I don't like the thought of her stepping out on her husband. Amy I could care less about, but Celia's husband doesn't deserve that, especially after all he's done for her.

Ah g,
I understand your feeling but you must look at this story through the eyes of the 19th century. You usually never ended up with the person you loved the most because of circumstances and especially your station in life. Even if you did have the money was it because of hard work or because of a legacy and we know victorians didn't consider this a great mixture either. Celia can never do away with that feeling she has always had for Jonathan. If you think about it Joshua becomes another complication in their marriage especially when he returns from the sea.
