This story is really interesting...hopefully Amy doesn't get to talk to Sara Brodie about Celia and discover that she had a relationship (if you could call it that) with Jonathan in the past.

Great update Chocolate. I love that Jonathan when out and spend time with he friends. He needed that. I'm also glad to hear from Joseph. I see he is making grounds from the captian. I hope it will be good for Joseph. Jonathan father is coming back and I know that will not set well with everybody involed in his meaniness. I have to laugh at Jonathan and Amy and then I wanted to hit Amy for calling Sara name out. Jonathan had the right to go off on her and defend Celia. Aww, Celia and Jonathan are reconnection. I can just see that things are going to be the same for them anytime soon. Great as always Chocolate.

Yeah Jonathan usually retreats to his friends when he and his wife have 'issues'. It sure won't sit well with everybody when Mr. Mean returns especially Celia. For some ladies the best defense against a man in a war of words is to stick him with something that sends an immediate chill up his spine...;) Clearly she doesn't know anything about Celia and could care less if it did. Reconnection is that a good or bad thing? hmmm...LOL!!!

It amazes me how outgoing and caring Jonathan is, yet he let the love his life be thrown out on the streets. Now, he's stuck in a loveless marriage and he doesn't know he has a son.

Oh wow, this was such a deep and heartbreaking chapter. I see that bitch Sara was not only a bitch to Drake, she was one to Jonathan as well. Oh, I see that Jonathan is losing his desire to be stay married to Amy more and more, while Celia is set in her feelings that she need this job in order to make it in the world, though her feelings for Jonathan continue to be a present in her senses. Sara is my favorite sister...LOL! The Bay is such a small settlement that these socialites keep bumping into one another. If you were Jonathan would you want to stay married to that shrew when the love of your life is around you everyday...think about it carefully...;) Amy is such a female tyrant on her own. Of course Celia has her own complications.
My older brother's birthday is March 2 and he is way cool. He can make you laugh so hard even when he is being ultra serious. I believe you have that same type of personality. I hope you had a great birthday and thanks so much for the review!

Well I expected some of the readers to take Joseph's side because I always saw him as a good guy but certainly other factors come into play. I love your observation because my fics are usually based on feelings...loving that human emotion that makes you do things that you wouldn't otherwise...
Yes there is more to Dr. Jo. I could point out one thing which is...he could have easily rejected the idea of hiring Celia. There are other things that I have to bring out in my updates but maybe I will succeed and maybe I won't who knows in the end.

I really like this story sweetie. I was apprehensive about reading it at first cause I usually get upset reading stories about times of oppression and slavery but I giving this one a try and so far it seems very intriguing!!..I cannot wait to see what happens between Celia and Dr. Campbelll...I am kind of mad at him for letting her and their baby be kicked to the curb by his father but I think he may have been just as hurt by his father's action as Celia was...I do not want to see Celia's husband hurt cause he really loves her and the baby but Dr. Campbell's wife needs a swift kick in her butt and to be shipped off to never never land...I cannot wait for more sweetie..good job!!

Great story thus far. I am quite interested in how Celia and Jonathan's love came to be. It seems as if he may be ready to take the bull by the horns and throw caution to the wind. I hope he fights for his love and go through hell and hi-water to get her. Is he aware of Joshua at this point? Because if not, then the plot thickens.!.!. Well you see better than the author does...LOL!!! This story can lead down so many roads and I'm playing sort of a game with myself when it comes to the outcome. They are attracted to each other but Celia's world is safe for her right now. There is nothing wrong with her marriage because Joseph is a supportive husband and was there for her in a critical time. Jonathan isn't happy with much of anything in his life but does that mean that attempting to be with the love of his life is the answer...what will this do to her life? Questions...questions but we shall see...;)
