This was sweet!

I liked the point of view and the story drama line.

This is such a fantastic story! Wonderful story line and a terrific cast!

Aggh! I relate to Ciel so much!! I pretty much AM him! I was known as the amazon in fifth grade then the dwarf in the tenth. Didn’t have acne but I was really heavy around the same years he suffered too. Like him, I was an ugly duckling who has just become the average duck. Most people in life are like that and so it’s awesome the hero is a normal standard guy and isn’t some stud bull with a telescope sized genetilia.

Reading those first lines pulled me in, not just because he’s a protagonist that I relate to but because it’s a story that’s not written that often from the male’s perspective. It’s usually the girls we hear about, who have the insecurities and the frustrations and just want someone to love.

As for Jade…I wanna shake her. I guess her situation is not one you can understand unless you’ve been in her shoes. Like Ciel, I found her behavior perplexing. Iwanted to reach in and just slap her until my hands were sore.

Then again, I think we’ve all had our share of shit boyfriends though and it is quite amazing how much you put up with until you realize you shouldn’t. I mean some of the stuff I took from one of my serious boyfriends shocked my friends. I drew the line at physical violence though and walked out.

But still, we all have our levels and we shouldn’t judge someone who is in that sort of relationship. The emotional manipulation is huge in that kind of relationship and your sense of worth, zero.

So, I liked how Ceil didn’t just constantly say “I told you so” because even though you feel it’s the right thing to do, (believe me, I know) compassion wins over judgment.

I felt kinda angry on behalf of Ciel. I mean, he got the girl but at what price? He’s never going to walk again! All just for her. I don’t know whether to be furious at her or to be deeply touched by how much he cares for her.

But that’s an awesome element of your writing in both stories I’ve read so far. The flaws that are so prominent in the characters but are loved nonetheless and also the fact that in the endings, things aren’t all resolved and it’s not a happy ever after. It’s just like real life.

You have me hooked and I haven't read the story yet.  Yep, the cast of MEN did it for me.  Jay Z is my husband and Shia LaBeouf is my boytoy LOL!!! I'm off to read now.

Just finished this piece and have to say I liked it a lot. I must read more of your stuff. I love the flow and the ending. Thanks for posting this and for casting Zoe!!! LOVE HER!!! (and her daddy ha ha)

I don't know many people who can pull of an ending that is both sad and happy, but you did just that.
