Alright, I admit it, I didn't hate Neil at the end. When Dru needed someone, he did what no one else was willing to do.
However, Ashley was a straight bitch.
Glad everyone got their happy ending. Well, except for Neil, LOL.

Hey shocol. Awww, so you softened towards Neil huh? That was a goal of mind to show that there were no clear cut bad guys or good guys in this. Just a bunch of people with good intentions that screwed up royally when it came to their lives somehow.
Except for Ashley. She's a parasite.

Love this chapter. Love the utter hotness that is Jack and Drucilla, and l absolutely love the way Jack and Dru love each other.
In the flashback Mamie made my ass hurt, I cannot believe she treated Dru so cruelly and calling her a liar.
Can't wait to see what happens at the hospital and I'm glad that Jack is going with her, it should be all kinds of good. LOL! Baby!

Well Done Black, I just love happy endings, and Jack and Dru so deserved thiers.
Glad that Neil was man enough to tell what he did, he had no right to play God and neither did Ashley.

I cant believe it Losing Jack has finally come to an end. What did I dig about this story...the awesome love scenes...the dialogue. You really stayed true to the characters. It was a really great read!!!

Wow, that was so awesome Black and had the Y&R theme to the ending also. Man, I know what Neil did was wrong as hell, but you got to feel for the man. He just did and made some stupid choices because he was in love with a women who wasn't in love with him all the way. I love how Lily's being Jack came out too. Nice touch. Gawd, this whold thing didn't just effect Jack, Dru, Neil, and Lily it effected almost of GC didn't it. I'm glad Neil was man enough to do the right thing and Liv told that witch Ashley off too. It was nice to see Lily Jack, and Dru being family too. Great as always Black and I actually hate seeing this Series end, but it was a wonderful goodbye to it too. Thanks for writing it.

Wow. I really liked the ending. I'm kinda sad that Neil had to leave, but I understand that he had to do it so they could all heal. You really sold me on the love story between Dru and Jack. When I watched Y&R, for the most part I could never stand Jack-he is such a smug, swarmy character, but I liked him in this story. The flashbacks were really helpful b/c it provided further backstory between the two, well three or four (if you count Ashley and Neil) people in that relatonship. So happy that they got their happy ending.

Okay, that was a great ending to such a great story. I loved, loved that everything ended with people acting like grown ups for once, doing the right thing for everyone involved.
You wrote the hell out of those last flashback scenes, so heartbreaking. How Dru and Neil came to be, Jack not realizing the extent of her depression. I'm happy that they've all moved on with their lives, and everyone is finally where they're supposed to be.

It was a slow build of self loathing throughout the story (something I think started before she even moved into the Abbott house) that just became too much. Now older wiser Dru would never get to that point but in the end, back then Dru was still very young and fragile. And I don't think this story could have had anything but a happy ending. Nice flashback of her years as a dancer.. I say it again, great use of history to bring a real element to your stories. You have a keen awareness of the characters you write.
I heart this - the bluff---their bluff! Nice touch of making something special between them, about them. It made them reconnect!

Loving the flashbacks.. Convo w/Dru and Neil gives us readers some insight on how Neil feelings play an important role in this story and how he got caught up in this whole thing. Even Dru said she was wrong for fooling herself all these years about her feelings. Nice update
