All of the students in the Library made me laugh; Carmine trying to get a few Zzz's; Kenny "working" on his paper; Andrew & Claire being - well, Andrew & Claire; my favorite part, though, had to be the sex talk.
Wow, it has been a while since I played that game - good times. Good times.
Blush by B-Lush? Never heard of that - not a huge Fashion Head, though. Sounds cute. God, I LOVE Monique. In the 80s classic, which I haven't seen for years, the Odd girl who made the super SICK faces was always my favorite. I adore her.

Damn, Claire. Maybe you just should have studied, therefore you wouldn't have been able to reason with yourself that skipping was the sensible solution to your problem. And for Hello Kitty. I digress. ^_^ Your Mom is not a nice drunk, somehow I don't get the sense she'd win a Warm & Cuddly award sober, either. So, there's that - her consistency. It's a shitty column B, but...what can ya do?

Good going, Pop. Set that boy straight. You teach him that it isn't the wrong doing that's wrong, but it is the getting caught! After all, that's how the White Collar boys do it. They're damaged.

I like Kenny. Maybe it's my thing for smart guys, I adore them. Spencer Reid is one of the sexiest men I have ever seen. And Matthew is no less talented than the men he portrays on TV. Anyway. Kenny's parents are horrible (this is a recurring theme, no?), they're on my shit-list. Encourage, parents, do not pressure. It's in any number of those How To Raise Your Kid 101 handbooks. Why do people not read? I agree with Kevin Craft, some people should not be allowed to reproduce.
Yes, Mrs. Vernon is the only adult figure I've taken a liking to. That might change, but I really hope not. ^_^ She got a wicked pretty face. Not that it matters in this context. Anyway.
The more I read of this, the more I like it. The characters, the situation, their reasoning - lord, the flare gun. Going to read more since I'm up and all ^_^

Wow, Andrew, that was a top-of-the-line-Dick move, and a stupid one, too. Now you are in all manners of trouble. When she said he lost skin with that tape, I literally cringed. The image of skin being pulled away, whether in live-action or just in my mind, is not OK with me. But in a good way. I guess. It conjures an image, that's all that matters, right?
Carmine Luciano, eh? So, you think you're a gangster. Well, I will not argue the fact (or opinion) with you, buddy. Carmine sells high-grade weed. Well, that's better than what I thought he was selling. OK, I thought he was selling Crank, I can admit that. I blame Ellen Hopkins.
And now he is so Busted. For some reason I feel like Phineas & Ferb's older sister... Whatever.
Enjoying this even more so now. The boys act like those Grimlins that got wet, right when they went all green and manic.

lol anyway, onto the add. I really like Claire!! I (like Carmine) would have assumed because she's rich, that she's a little spoilt bitch aswell. I think she's quite nice though, yes, she is popular and she is rich and she does lead a decadent lifestyle but that doesn't mean she's nasty or judgmental or rude...which is what I would have assumed about her. Anyway, she's really cool and is it just me or does Denise have a little crush on Kenny? lol I think it's cute!
Now normally if my parents were to have left me alone for 8 months, I'd be over the moon...but of course I say that without experiencing how it really feels, so I can understand how Monique feels that resentment, of course you would. I'm glad she's deciding to use it to her advantage though, revenge is sweet.
And aww Andrew has a crush on her, that is so cute!!
I like where this is going :) Because of the one afternoon they spent together, everyone is crossing social boundaries and getting to know eachother as people as opposed to typecasts! Wonderful writing, Tacorra and I promise to review more frequently from now on :)

This story is fantastic! Love the characters and you’ve done a fantastic job modernizing it!
I’m enjoying this more than the original movie so far, cause you’re providing an awesome glimpse into the characters out of the detention room, so I feel like that gap has been filled!
I hope you keep writing, Monique has me intrigued. I’m wondering what’s going to happen to Andrew and there seems to be a bit of a love triangle between Claire, Carmine and Kenny. I like all of the characters, and I usually hate guys like Carmine and spoilt princess girls like Claire.
I’m surprised more people haven’t reviewed this, it’s fantastically written. And I cannot wait to read more. More of this and more stories from you, that is.

Now I was actually going to have it be Kenny but I kind of tweaked the story enough (though I kept it the same where it counts) and I wanted some of the relationship dynamics to stay the same.
