Now I'm confused. Did he go back to save Sonia or Kimi? I thought it was to save his lady love Sonia, but I'm not so sure anymore.
Is he still torn between the two women, or has he finally made a choice?

Oh man, this is really getting good. I feel bad because I'd fallen behind on my reading, but I love catching up.
So he's doing all of this for Sonia. Now that's love.

Yeah, this couple needs to make it. Their love and passion for each other is beyond powerful. I hope Kimi doesn't have her eyes set on Matt. She already missed that boat, because he's Sonia's now.

Ok they might fight hard but they love even harder!! That was seriously HOTTT!!! I actually like Sonia and Matt together...she is strong and he loves and respects her because of it even though she can give him a really hard time!! Wonder what is up with Kimi and why she wants to see him...long as she is not making a play for Matt I am alright with it,lol. I cannot wait for more..this was smoking!!! Good job sweetie..

I finally got to this. Thank you again for such a wonderfully told piece of fiction! I love the whole idea of war amongst demons and humans; loving the supernatural appeal to things. I love Dean...er uhhh Matt. He's so sexy, but I really love Sonia. She's a tough broad but capable of being hurt like any other and she truly, truly cares for Matt.
One other thing, the sequence at beginning and end of him alone in the desert under a night sky...it sooo inspires. That was just so magical. Reminded me of a painting by...ummm...some French guy called "The Dream" where there's this woman asleep on the ground, forest in the background, a tiger in the midst, but it's night, almost twilight and she's asleep. The image inspires whimsy and magic and this sequence reminded me of it.
So is the desert the go-between of time travel for Mariachis? Love this. Also, the number of times he's gone back and forth. Twelve is it? So this means this time, will be his thirteenth? Hmmm...I wonder if the suspicion surrounding the number 13 bear any weight with regard to Sonia's fears of him traveling again?
Can't wait to read more. Bravo :)

God this is intriguing. I want to read more of this. Is this based on a buffyverse story you wrote? If so who do the characters translate into? Just curious because I couldn't get it out of my mind. Write more! This flows smoothly and puts a grin on my face when Sonia was bitching at Matt and Matt was thinking on how to distract her form her anger.

Okay, since you asked - yes, the first draft of this story more than 4 years ago was in fan fic form and it was definitely Buffyverse. It's changed dramatically since the first posting but Matt was Spike, Sonia was Faith, Kimi was Buffy and Artemis was Angel. BUT - and this is a big but - even back then the story was alternate universe and didn't fit into any cannon.
Even today (and I rarely write fan fic anymore anyway), my original stories can be inspired by Buffyverse characters. I also am inspired by Terminator: Sarah Connor Chornicles, Firefly, and lately, the BBC's Being Human.
And I'm thrilled you are enjoying the way Sonia and Matt show love for one another. I've always wanted to do more with these two characters and this website inspired me to give it a go. Glad you are reading and commenting. I hope you'll continue to let me know what you think as I most more chapters.

This is getting so interesting...I have like a million questions!! Who is Kimi? Why is Artemis so ademant to ruin his relationship with Sonia? Why is he risking his life for this last mission? More about his background and how he got to this place. More about Sonia and who is his other love that he has to chose between..I really am enjoying this story sweetie..can hardly wait for more!!

Nice, the dynamic between Sonia and Matt. And how did they come to be...(in a relationship) a demon hunter and a half demon? My interests are peeked and who is he dreaming about...wait. .that was a dream right? I want some more (chapters) please. This reminds me of Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike. Nice cast selection by the way.

Oh yes, I'm a diehard Buffy/Spike/Angel fan and when I first started writing this (it's four years old:), it was inspired by that show. I'm so glad you're reading and enjoying it. I dusted it off when I found this site and said - I've got to revisit it and post here. I absolutely LOVE casting. I do that for my stories all the time, and this site is giving me permission!

This is EXCELLENT. You've caught my eye. The narrative at first, the sequence, the description of the hunt. OH MY this is so good! And I love his point of view. We get what Sonia is thinking as Matt dictates it to us. This is just so good. Gonna keep my eye on this story :)

I just started getting into stories about time traveller/time lord b/c of my love for Dr. Who. So your story caught my eye. I like it so far. Except dude is with one woman but thinking about another.. sigh.. I'm sure all will be explained. LOL Look forward to the next update. and welcome to the site..
