Aw man why is he running away when he seems to know now after what she told his girlfriend, that he might have a child. Maybe he's shocked, but i would think he would be curious about Faith instead of running away. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Liandra showed him who she really is. She’s no longer a girl with scars (of life), she’s a woman with integrity, something his ‘trophy’ girlfriend is sorely lacking. The nerve of her asking who the father is!
Bitch.
Speaking of said heffa, one has to wonder why Jake agreed to take her with him. He had to know Liandra would be there; it was more of a probability than not. My theory is that subconsciously, anger, pain and jealousy reared its ugly head. You know how it works: show up years later with a significant other in an attempt to crush the heart of the person who stole yours. The unspoken message says, ‘you messed up, I’m doing fine without you’. The tactic backfires because 1) you’re miserable and 2), that special someone still has your heart in their possession, idiot! And in Jake’s case, Liandra has much more of him than he realized.
Wasn’t that the ultimate mind-fuck? She didn’t flaunt it or go baby-mama mode on his ass. In fact, she did it with love. I’m so proud of the lady she became.
One last observation, Liandra protected her baby. If she’d allowed introductions in that moment, Faith would’ve sensed negative vibes between the adults; it would not have been the best atmosphere for her child. (Fabulous scenes)
Ok JV, stop yakking and just tell Mona she’s da bomb! (You are ya know.)

Jake knows...doesn't he...strange reaction though...and certainly not the one I'd expected...I can understand his coldness to Li...she did after all break his heart once upon a time...though I believe he's taking it a bit far by acting as if he has no previous knowledge her existence...is it because he's in shock learning about his instant fatherhood...or is it he's just biding his time until he can confront Li without Renee's presence...that should be one intense and heart-wrenching conversation to say the least...
Renee didn't quite annoy me as much as she has in the last few chapters...I just choose to view her as a hindrance...or a shield that Jake uses to hide his feelings behind...but I can't wait for the real story to begin...the one where both Jake and Li deal with their issues for Faith's sake...and hopefully...for their own...
This was a great update...wow, this story gets better each time I read a new chapter...I can't wait until the next installment...so please, update soon...and thanks again for a great read!!!

I love this story but the chapters are too short. Just when it's getting good the chapter is over. If Jake didn't figure out from that conversation that the little girl is his, he is really dense. Keep going I want more.

If I were to say something, I’d have to say that it was sweet to see Henry embracing Jake at the door, the hushed yelling was relayed well, Renee works a nerve, and that I could strangle Jake for that bold-faced lie!!! He just played himself. Jerk! Most importantly....
please don’t let her run with her baby, his baby! He doesn’t have to know who Liandra is but he damn well needs to know who Faith is!!!
