Elizabeth broke it down to Darcy. I'm glad he explained himself not to be a bigot but instead trying to avoid any unpleasantness that would come from them being together. Richard is so sweet and tender with her. He intends to marry her one way or the other. Great chapter!!

I'm happy that Mary and Richard are going forward regardless of what others think. Someone had to break society idea of normal and what is acceptable.

Loved it. Hopefully Mr Darcy gives his support but they're gonna have a rough ride in regency period. Richard may fair better in dealing with certain situations but I'm not too sure about Mary as she is young, naive and has been sheltered.
