Ah Gambit...
BM, I think you captured that sexy mofo just right. He is a tricky one--wears a mask to everyone so long, so often that even he forgets who he really is, I think.
Take how he is all Alpha Male with Storm- laying down da law about how things are going to happen because "dis is ma bed, you come t' ma bed". But he really wants to know that she wants/needs him. He wants to hear her "beg" for him. But he's the one completely under her spell and he doesn't really know it.
And while he's thinking about how he's leaving his mark on her, all it takes is a kiss and to hear his name through her breathy whisper to have him pop his cork. LOL!
I wonder if he even knows this.

Thanks for reading islandlass. And you're right about Gambit being all Alpha when it comes to Storm but in reality being desperate for her approval. I like to think the shifting dynamics between them played with his head a bit. I can see him acting out because of it. But in the end he just wants her to want him, which of course she does ;)

Thank you Pru! And there's are different versions of the X-Men characters in different storylines. There are a few (not many) with a Gambit/Storm pairing. But they've flirted around with it a little in the main canan storyline.

I love the couple of Remy and Ororo. I think they fit together so much better then Remy and Rouge and Ororo and whoever shes with. So this was a wonderful story for me to read. I think you got the characters on point and the situtation was probable. Hope to see more or atleast inspire people to write more!

While I know the Storm character, I don't have a lot of information on Remy or the Uncanny X-Men series. I still like the push/pull between the two characters. Remys need for control was just as strong as her's. I think she realized in the moment where she said, "she is now, Remy's Stormy, not Ororo" Good Story...hope to see more in the near future.

Holy Shit!!! No that is what I'm talking about Black!! Now that is Comic X-men at it greatest. I love the characteristics of Storm and Gambit in this short tale.
It was like I was reading from the pages of the comicbook myself Black. And those two were smoking Black. Storm just fit so many people in the X-men and Marvel universe that its unreal.
You did a great job and I'm hoping I see you venture to the world of X-men/Marvel fiction in the future Black. *HUGS*

Loved it BM..it was smokin!!! I don't all about Xmen just what was at the movies but my husband and son ccollected all the comics so I will have to aks him about Remy!!
As I read the dialogue I could hear that New Orleans accent and it added extra to itr! I enjoyed this one BM,,good job sweetie!!
