Yeah! I love the new update. Farrah and Sammy are getting their much needed time together. I can't wait for Jalin, Farrah and Sammy time. They are soo cute together..
I don't like Farrah's mom, she is up to something and it doesn't seem right. And I defintely don't like the dead beat dad, he is REALLY up to no good.. I hope Sammy can protect the little family from them.. GREAT JOB!!!

Yay!!! So glad you're back as I missed this story. Thank you for the update. Loved it but Jessyca is a piece of work and needs to ease up with the attitude in ref to Farrah. What does she have over Farrah that she seems afraid of her??? She was so not nice to Farrah. What kind of interfering mom is she??? Doesn't she have her own life to live??? The only thing I like her for is that she has Jared under her guns. Hope he does the right thing.

Jessyca has been carrying this family as mother and father for so long that it's turned her into an all consuming Goddess, wanting control of every element. She has a lot on Farrah, that's as much as I will speak on here. She's abrasive. You may not like her, but you will understand her underlying intent. She's complicated.

I like this story, but why does the mother have so much control? We mothers are strong. I am happy that you are working on it again. I hate that they think Sammy is broke with nothing going for himself. I LOVE that the baby daddy is not home and in the mix.

I missed this story. Sammy seems hesitant about seeing her now and I understand that. Mom is a mess, I like how she handled Jerard. He was not coming back to see that child. Awesome update.

this chapter was definitely worth the wait. I can't believe her mother pulled something like that. I can't wait for more backstory. Farrah is a grown woman who is stricking out on her own. Why would you want to pull your children down? I hope Sammy will give her the chance to really talk about this with him.

What an update!!
Sammy is busy carefully trying to express his interest in an already skittish Farrah who is also inerested but hesiant, her past hurt still a bit close to the surface, when...BAM!! Hurricane Jessyca blows in, raining on their parade and catapulting all promising chances of a Sammy, Farrah, and Jalin straight to hell.
WTH is wrong with that woman? Why is she such a super bitch? And how the hell is Jalin HER baby when I believe I remember that part of the rift between Jessyca and Pat was that Pa supported Farrah having and keeping her baby while Jessyca wanted her daughter to get rid of him.
Now she is concerned responsible grandma and Farrah is a careless bad mother? Farrah needs to not rely on her sister to slap their mother into line. She needs to grow a backbone and learn to fight her own battles. Hopefully, Sammy was neither impressed nor deterred by the police drama and mean-ass Jess and will stick it out with Farrah. He is really so good with mother and son.

Sammy was thinking, 'she could be the one' and she's thinking 'why is he being so nice' meanwhile, their inching towards the way of their mounting attraction, and here comes the Miami Hurricane! You'll see how Farrah, despite all good reasoning got herself in over her head with Jess. It's coming!

Great update!!! What the hell is wrong with Jessyca??? She was really high handed in what she did. Treating Farrah and Sammy like that and not apologizing. If she won't apologize she needs not return to Farrah's place or Farrah needs to change her locks. She seems to be twisted with anger and hate. Where's the love for her daughter? Is she holding something over Farrah's head to control her??? Farrah is a grown woman, why is she treating her like that???
How does she expect to have a decent relationship with Farrah when she treats her like sh*t. I hope Farrah stands up to her and tell her about herself, mom or not because she was desrepectful and she shouldn't be allowed to get away with what she did. Thanks for a great update. It was a nice reunion between Farrah and Pat. I hope that Pat and Farrah's mom can become friends again. I like Sammy and Farrah together and it is nice that he gets along so well with her son. I am sure as soon as they become a couple her ex Jalin's father will pop up.

Wow, Sparks, this update was more than worth the wait!!!
It was nice and long, chock full of lots of really good stuff. If I didn't love Sammy before as the gorgeous good guy he is and baby Jalin's new best buddy, I'd love him for his big warm very kind embracing family.
So far everyone sees potential for a bit more than "just friends" between Sammy and Farrah. It is too soon with her not knowing him well or long and still dealing with her heartbreak over Jalin's birth father. But they do like each other.
The reunion between Farrah and Pat was really sweet. The rift between Jessyca and Pat should not have affected Farrah like that. I wonder what Jessyca's reaction will be when she finds out that Pat is visiting and had a reunion wih Farrah??? She's got to feel pangs of jealousy on top of the isolation and lonliness. See was way frantic calling all her kids wih no results. they're grown now. Empty nest syndrome is doing a number on her!
Gia is such a talented hostess and handler that even Aviree was nice and civil. LOL. I'm glad everyone welcomed and accepted Farrah and Jalin. Mia set the tone for the entire gathering.
I love way of delving into your characters and building relationships slowly despite any initial attraction. Lots of lustin' before the lovin'.

Author's Response: The Santi's are one hell of a clan, I can't wait until the Tre, John, and Amy's other sister Caroline makes her debut. She will have her own story, that I've been working with for months. Incredible bunch, and that love gives Sammy the ability to test himself in all kinds of places and with all types of people. "Just Friends" LOL. Sammy is smooth and he'll likely ride the bench until he's allowed an at bat. He's aware, observing a lot and then some definitives will make it clearer. Gia is definitely the kind of mother in law that could have multiple women from the archives of her son's past relations, all in the same room, and never have to raise her voice to keep the peace. She's a force to be reckoned with. Jess has had a mind fuck, and she's bitter. She's dealt her hand away and now she's alone, and needs something to control. You'll see more from her, especially now that Pat and Farrah have reunited. It didn't seem like a year and change, as the months crept by. But they'll make it up. Pat ached for that part of her life, as Jess was an huge instrument in her life. Thanks Blue, I'm glad to share them with you because they are a solid family, who can take hits and stand firm. If there's any place to lose and ind yourself it's with them. Yes, the attraction is there. Now that they're grown, she feeds this need through Jalin. Author's Response: Thank you. I expected this one to be long, since it needed to cover a lot of ground in a short fraction of time. Quarto and Aviree defintely have a history. She's not all bad, simply misguided and was unable to understand that love is unconditional. She wants another try. And you'll see why, and how he reacts to it. Tre has no patience for her. He's tired of Aviree. He loves his son and grandson, but he witnessed a lot of the drama, so that leaves him apprehensive to allow her back into their fold.
