It is true what you said about love: To be in love was to run the risk of floating away, to lose oneself.
I love this fic because it isn't all intensive like mine. It's a slow build and I also see that it is a future fic. I can't wait to read that fic.

I'm glad you liked the slow build. That's pretty how much I like to write: building up to something and then quickly trying to deal with the fallout ;P.
I think whenever Todd falls in love (with Blair repeatedly or anyone else) he does let himself get away. He forgets morals, reasoning and logic and bad things happen. Evangeline is aware that and isn't about to let that happen to her or Todd.

Okay, now I love me some Tangeline and this was an awesome snippet of their everyday. My favorite line was the following:
It was a stable kind of love and after everything that was what Todd needed. Anyone who called that boring obviously had never spent a night in her bed. Life with Todd could never be boring.
Wonderful insight. All in all a really well written story.

I loved those lines, they were so great. Really like how your wrote Todd, and Evangeline's flirting with him.

Todd and Evangeline are masters at flirting with each other, but Evangeline's a better tease. Todd gets impatient and gets to the point like he does in all other areas of his life.
