I'm in love with this story! There is a certain mystery surrounding everything that places me in the book. Because all the details aren't there, I think about how I would survive being in the situation. Makes me wonder about the politics of this new world.
As much as I would say I would be independent if I was Rox, I would probably handle the environment no better than her. I love her wit, b/c that's how I deal with danger. Speaking of danger, how did she get in that situation to begin with?
I've kinda been waiting for her to meltdown, cause she has been way to accepting. But then again, does she have a choice?

I really like this story! I hope you update it! I love all of the characters (Though i found Roxie a tad annoying in the beginning lol). Though i'm a littl confused as how they are going to have kids if mod is sterile? bt iguess you'll explain that later. Either love the story!

i've notice a pattern with myself - i always seem three updates behind, lol! not that it matters to me, that only means more reading and boy, did i enjoy it! i wont lie i missed Leo but in the same time it's nice to see Mod and Roxi together, she has started to relax around him and really likes the idea of having babies with him lol! i have a questions for you - how many chapters do you think DP will have?

That thought has crossed my mind but then I came up with two reasons why it wouldn't work:
(1) Roxi is too innocent to come up with something like that on her own. That actually made me want to write a story with a less naive female protagonist. *wink wink*
(2) Have you seen Hancock? 'Mountain top!'-sex is not conducive to baby-making.

Loved it! It was a very sweet chapter and good to see mod and roxie interacting in a non-intense way. wish the chapter was longer. hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the other chapters x

another lovely charming update. i love rox and mod together. love how she is as she says slowly warming to him, rather the idea of being a family, haveing, creating a family or semblance of. i think its getting to mod too. im loving the happy! and anticipating whats to come. a+! thanks for the update!

i just read all of this in one sitting; girlie, this is good! i'll write a more detailed review later, but for now, i am absolutely torn! i heart Mod, but Leo is so sweet and kind and smart-assed that i totally heart him too! one question (which will not skew my view on this at all, but): is Roxanne mixed?

Leo and Mod are pretty cool, huh? I'm glad they don't seem too angsty. Well, Leo doesn't considering the circumstances.
I haven't written much about Roxi's pre-story life. I know I need to do that some time soon. I never imagined her as mixed, though. I'll be writing more about that in the future, though.

LOL! This was funny. Alex and Sam, ahhhh love. Giving these spellbooks to Roxie behind Leo's back is very tricky. I hate to see Leo mad. I mean I would love to see him mad. I'm sure he's even more sexy! I like Roxie's observations on Leo, feeling guilty (or appearing so) after he kissed her. That makes two dudes who have feelings for her in spite of decorum (in spite of this need to choose and mate).

I'm glad you like Alex and Sam. I've decided that I need a relatively less angsty couple.
Leo is my favorite character but he still ended up being my cosmic plaything. I know I should write backstories for him and Mod, but I feel like it would still suck to be him somehow...

Leo just can't catch a break, right? Not that it matters, but he is my favorite character...
I know that I wrote in the first chapter that Mod "attacked" Roxi. That was just supposed to be her perception of the event (as the majorly injured party). In later chapters, I tried to emphasize that his real intent was just to hug her; that's partly why everyone is so sympathetic to him. I'm sorry for the confusion. I'll keep this in mind. I might change the wording in the first chapter.

Hi how are you doing? So the pen is a little dry, try reading what you have written so far. Think why each main character need each other. Why can he not touch her without pain? Is it because he has not opened his heart to his mate? Or maybe she needs to see him as a man not a creature or see him as both? Does your main female lead need to over come some inner demons of her own to help him? or Does he need to accept him self and his passion for his chocolate drop to remove the curse. or Is he cursing himself by focusing on that and not life?????? please respond, relax and update soon. thank you ....
