Audre and Jenelle went for complete opposites, if the soundtrack to Audre’s dream man was Jay Z’s “Excuse Me Miss,” Jenelle’s dream man’s would be “So Hood”
Everytime a friend of mine and I are out and we see some ghettoness, we start singing "I'm So Hood." LMAO.
Loved her phone convo with her parents, especially her father. He was real crunk about the wedding! LOL! Christian is super cute! Can't wait to see them at the roller derby, which is AWESOME! I used to watch roller derby with my mom when I was really young! Got me all nostalgic! :)
Author's Response: That's funny! I don't know why I like that stupid song but it reminds me of so many guys I've known. Audre's dad is interesting to write for me, on one hand he's mellow and laid back but on the other when poppa puts his foot down, it's a wrap! Writing the roller derby scene was so much fun, I used to go to them when I was in school and Predator is an almost exact replica of a roller derby friend of mine! Very nice update. Really like Audre's relationship with the women in her life. Her mother is a trip and Janelle is crazy as hell. I loved her converstation with her father, it made me LOL. Looking forward to her trip home. I'm sure their first eyeful of Chris will be interesting.

How you write Audre's mom and dad is so realistic. It's like I can hear their actual voices; the dialogue is great!

Jenelle is funny, there's not much of a filter between her thoughts and what she says, I love the fact that she says what people think but are afraid to. I'm glad you like how I write the parents, they are going to be coming up in the next chapter I post and I'm having alot of fun writing them.
