So glad Audre got called out like that, she needs to take a longer look at her assumptions I think. Of course, I can say that because I'm not a character in a story, I probably would have done the same thing in her position.
Can't wait to see more of Christian, love his banter with Audre. And Jenelle is cute, I like that girl. :)

Hahaha that's funny, let's say that in addition to the message Audre posted a picture of Greg digging in his nose that she took of him while he was unawares. Somehow I get the feeling a picture of Greg/Henry Simmons would be no laughing matter hahaha.

Loved the update! It seems Christian will be pivotal in helping her break down strongholds that she's allowed others to place on her about her identity. I can't wait to see that relationship develop. I think a lot of people can relate to Audre... I know I can! Especially with the mom thing! GREAT UPDATE!!

I'm glad you can relate to Audre, she is like a lot of people not least of all myself in that we can get so caught up in image and never letting people see you vulnerable. Christian is definitely a breath of fresh air and someone who can help Audre really tap into herself.

Okay, Christian is hot. Love the tatoo artist angle, and damn if I don't see a lot of myself in Audre. I'd be worried about my Mom seeing it too. Author's Response: Christian is hot! It's funny because I know at least for me, no matter how grown I get there is still somethings that I still can't tell my mom hahaha. The conversation was very intense, a friend of mine once said that tattoo artists are like therapists in that people like to get stuff off of their chest when they're talking to them, so they tend to be really good at listening to people and being able to read them! The revenge fantasy was inspired by the movie campaign for the movie forgetting Sarah Marshall, I don't know if they did this in your town but in Chicago the posted billboards throughout the city that read "I hate you Sarah Marshall." or something to that effect so I thought I'd take that concept and improve on it hahaha.
Yes this is my ode to the awful concept of found art (as demonstrated in Ghostworld), I don't get it, never had never will.

Eh, Greg is such a douche. Did I say that already? Seriously, the flashbacks with Audre make me question her self esteem. So glad she's getting on track and the revenge fanstasy was funny as hell.

Glad you liked the revenge fantasy, even though I don't advocate overt acts of revenge against people, the imagination is a powerful thing and it's amazing how just visualizing something can make you feel better hahaha.

I was inspired by an actual article for men, and I just thought it was funny that with a lot of women's articles revenge is wrapped up in external whereas this article talked alot about focusing on yourself and I really liked that. I also agree that the best revenge is living well, that's why I wanted to do this story. I think most of us have those dark thoughts of revenge that can consume us when we get the short end of the stick in a relationship but it's good to draw strength from it and not let those thoughts of revenge break you and that's what this is about.
