Dru looked at Michael who nodded. "Make the check out to Drucilla Barber," she said. "My divorce will be finalized soon."

"I have to remember to congratulate Neil when I see him," Victor said.

"He'll have to take his head out of your ass before he could hear it," she replied.

Yes! I am so happy that Dru finally admitted it not just to Jack but herself. When Dru talked about feeling guilty about Lily and Neil...my heart went out to her. That was so well written. The situation with Lily is going to be a mess, but now that her and Jack are together, it will be much easier to handle. This is my favorite chapter!

Another excellent update! I know this is horrible but being as though CK is playing Lily...I don't feel bad...maybe I should just imagine the other Lily. I am so glad they are together...wait until they find out about Neil's lie all these years...this is getting sooo good.

Hi GreatO, I am not even finished reading this..I am cracking up! When Audre's mother asked if she is on drugs...I bust out laughing. If that is not my grandmother I don't know who is.

You know, I just don't know.  I swear I just. . .don't . . .know.  I've been talking to your father about this and. . .are you on drugs?"  Hilarious...maybe it is because this is a conversation I have had.

Poor Audre...making fun of her major! Chris rebounded nice though. The waitress....jealous much? Please don't make us wait long for the rest of the date :-)

Author's Response: Yeah the art history majors get no respect!  I thought it was a nice change up for Christian to put his foot in it instead of it always being Audre.  But Chris knows how to lay it on doesn't he hahahaha.  Yeah the waitress, well I think Christian was having a little too much fun getting a rise out of Audre but it seemed like the whole non date flirting tactic worked.

Girl you are back and in full effect!

I love your conversations. I get so drawn in to them. They flow naturally, while revealing the characters. I am so happy to see Audre enjoying herself and letting loose and doing and saying things that are not like her. I love Chris' friends too...I loved the huffy conversation.

Audre sure had Chris' attention with that kiss and she is definitely going to regret that conversation in the morning.

"Thank you. Are you a freak?"

"Do you spank?" 

The one that guys fantasize about.  Don't get me wrong, I know I'm attractive, and smart, funny, and loveable."

"Don't forget modest."

 These lines were absolutely hilarious!

This was soooo good. Cass obviously feels insecure about her man demonstrated by the need to make Audre feel bad. If her list of things are the reason her relationship works..that is a sad situation. I can't wait for both of them to get theirs. They deserve each other. As my mother says the best revenge is living well, looking good and loving hard.

I am so glad Audre had the outlet of painting. I hope this turns into a new avenue for her...maybe an art showing. I would love to see the look on their faces when Audre is applauded by her loving man!

Title: Chapter 2: Part I

Girl this is sooo good. I am loving it. I love the family dynamics and the background on everyone. This is an excellent read. Cooper is not playing. Who stays infatuated with someone from 12 years old? The scene in the car was HOT. I loved how you set that up and then went back a few days. It definitely build up to the moment. Can't wait for the next update. Great job.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you like it Harlan!  I love the Delaney family, I've never really written what I picture to be the kind of all American good ole boy family so I'm enjoying it.  Cooper is definitely an interesting character, he's kind of a wild card in my head because I'm not sure if it's an ideal he's chasing or if he likes the game or if he truly does love Veronica.  Even as I know the ending I'm still not 100% sure so I look forward to hearing ya'lls thoughts on it.  I thoroughly enjoyed the car scene too hehehe.

That was so sweet. I am a little surprised at how deep Cooper can get. I think V does have an idea how Coop feels for her because she knew he was not just coming around spending time with her. Coop got to the root of her self imposed no-dating, asking her if she felt as though she deserved it. Great update!
