Summary:

This is a General Hospital fan fic that takes place in 2014.  When Keesha Ward left the show in 1998, she returned to Philadelphia to tend to her sick father.  In my story, Keesha also found out she was pregnant by A.J. Quartermaine.  She gave birth to a daughter, Julianna Mae Ward, and has remained in her family home all this time.  She studied to become a nurse and had a successful career until a diseased liver brings her closer to death than life, and she decides it's time to let A.J. know he has a daughter.

Other PCers are also in this story.  Sonny and Carly Corinthos have died.

I really liked this chapter.  Julianna is very conflicted as well she should be.  It's good she has Michael there to help her.  And goodness, hasn't his life been one big mess? LOL.

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9

Loved the talk with AJ and Keesha. Even though AJ feels guilty, Keesha has gotten past it and I completely understand why she would. It would seem petty at this point I think.  I noticed Skye's last name is Chandler-Cudahy.  I know I should recognize it but I'm at a loss right now.  I'm guessing she's married?



Author's Response: Thanks! :-)  I enjoyed writing their talks throughout the story.  I kept Skye as a Chandler from her "All My Children" days, and I had her married to Tom Cudahy from AMC.  I always liked them together, so I decided to go that way in this story. :-)  I wanted Skye to be there because I enjoyed her relationship with AJ on GH.

Oooh, this is getting good.  I didn't catch on to the Jason aspect of the story about the iced cream until AJ said his name. I loved how you added that bit about Jason getting there first.   And the story of accident comes out.  I'm not sure Julianna will understand this one.

Hi, again! :-)  Thanks for the review and the stars!  I had to bring Jason into it.  LOL!  You're right about Julianna.  She wants to understand some of her father's point of view, but she doesn't really.  She just feels like her mother got cheated, so it's hard for her to rationalize anything right now where AJ is concerned.  LOL!

Oh that was a really great scene.  Julianna was understandably upset but Keesha was right in that it happened a long time ago.  Reading this is bringing back all those old memories of AJ and Jason and how they treated him after that accident.  That was such a sad tragic story I thought but one of the best on the show.

Hi!  Thanks for the review and the stars! :-)  Yes, Keesha knows none of this is going to help A.J.'s cause where is daughter is concerned, LOL, so she keeps trying to get her daughter to focus on the present.  A few things will happen in that direction.  Eventually! *grin*  That storyline definitely changed the course of GH!

Okay, loved that Ellen's part of this fic.  Thanks for adding her, and I feel like a dope for not adding her to the Chamber characters section.  Loved the moment between Keesha and AJ.  That was so sweet.

Thanks, BlackMamba!  Yes, Julianna will begin to see a few things, but then some other things will happen that will cause her to go back and forth.  LOL!  AJ just felt he needed to sever all ties with his parents to do what he decided he needed to do.  For now. *grin*

Aww, you're getting me choked up.  Well I know there's more story to come and that this isn't the end for Keesha.  I loved AJ reading to her from the bible.  You know every time I read this story I think about how sad it is that they never gave him something like this on the show.  It would have been amazing to see.

Hi!  You're right.  This is not the end.  Just a bump to bring some things into focus for the story. :-)  I know what you mean about the storyline.  But they just wanted AJ to be the fall guy for Sonny and Jason and didn't even give another thought to Keesha once she left the show. :-(  I really thought AJ/Keesha together could have taken on Carly & Jason and/or Carly & Sonny since that's the way they ultimately went, but *sigh*, it was not meant to be.  I think it was totally the audience's loss that we never got to see the storyline play out the way I thought it was heading before they wrote Keesha out of the show. :-(  Yes, it's been ten years, and I'm still bitter!!! *grin*

That was a great chapter.  Love that Julianna inherited Mary Mae's talent.  Seriously, this story makes me miss the Wards so much.  And Julianna put it out there didn't she?  And AJ can't say a damn thing.  But I love how he's falling for Keesha all over again, by realizing everything he threw away.  Great chapter Julianna.

Okay, this was really, really good. I don't watch CSI Miami and I this made me wonder why.  I know it's not as good as this but a girl can hope can't she?

Wow, that chapter was plain awesome.  The ice cubes---I got no words. Very creative way to cool off.

But yeah, he was kind of a dumbass for uncuffing her and turning his back. And holy smokes, she pulled the trigger.  Question is, did he have the presence of mind to take the bullets out of the gun?  I guess we'll find out eventually...when you update again....soon?

Okay, first off, I did the Snoopy dance when I saw you updated. Thanks for posting.

Second, love the insight into Josephine.  She's hardcore and I love it.  So glad Jake had the presence of mind to empty the gun (he'd have lost cool points with me if he didn't).  Favorite line of the chapter:

I mean I was supposed to be on a plane by now and here I am in this shitty neighborhood, handcuffed to a couch that smells like jalapeño and feet with the gates of hell opening up outside. What can I say, I was scared.

Okay, that had me rolling. LMAO.  Loved the stuff about Gary, very nice way to tell us just who we're dealing with. Now I'm dying to know who she stole from. 

Great, great chapter.  Loved it and you know I'll be waiting for the next one.



Author's Response: Thanks BlackMa!  I really enjoyed writin the backstory on Josephine I really wanted her to be hardcore but I wanted for there to be a reason behind that, I love how manipulative she is and yet I still can't help but like her a bit.  Yeah I have some family in Gary and I really want to capture some of the oppressiveness of certain parts of it.  And Jake is a smart one so he's definitely not going to let Jo jerk him around.  Thanks for reading and the review sorry you had to wait so long for the update!

So happy you updated this one. It's one of favs of yours.  Really liked the backstory on Jake. Love the back and forth with the brothers.  So we're getting to the introduction of the rest of the charaters now. I'm enjoying that dynamic already. 

Probably also kept those in the bar from getting too aggressive, really who the fuck would riot to Bob Seger?

That made me laugh.  Don't keep us waiting too long for another chapter greatO.  This update was great.

Author's Response: Greg is a douche, I concur.  Audre definitely has some issues within herself which we'll learn more about, she's a work in progress.  Glad you liked the revenge fantasy, even though I don't advocate overt acts of revenge against people, the imagination is a powerful thing and it's amazing how just visualizing something can make you feel better hahaha.

Okay, Christian is hot.  Love the tatoo artist angle, and damn if I don't see a lot of myself in Audre.  I'd be worried about my Mom seeing it too.  Their converstation was intense and I'm dying to see her give in that attraction.  Wonder what their convo is going to be like this time.  Great update, can't wait for more!



Author's Response: Christian is hot!  It's funny because I know at least for me, no matter how grown I get there is still somethings that I still can't tell my mom hahaha.  The conversation was very intense, a friend of mine once said that tattoo artists are like therapists in that people like to get stuff off of their chest when they're talking to them, so they tend to be really good at listening to people and being able to read them!  Something Audre's going to be very uncomfortable with hahaha.

Great chapter.  I loved Audre's phone convo with her mother. I can so identify with every bit of it.  My mom would go ape if I told her I was trying Wicca or didn't meat so I feel her pain.  Love that whole black clothes thing. Very symbolic her wanting to break out of her rut.

Oh, and this:

"Wear something sexy." 

Now who could you have been channeling there?  Hmmmm...LOL.  Waiting for the "date" update."

Yeah I was a vegetarian for a long time and there was just a lot of family drama around that, who knew that personal choice could have such a dramatic fall out hahaha.  Then there was the whole, 'I know you don't eat meat so I made extra chicken' conversations those were pretty funny too.  I loved using the black clothes and "sephora warpaint" because I thought it was something that a lot of us can identify with and having that moment where you wonder when things got that way.  I'm glad you liked it.

Hmmm, who was I channeling I have NO idea lol.  What can I say some characters you can't seem to get out of your blood, I wish I could quit him but he provided so many moments that just make me tingly hahaha.

Title: Chapter 1: Be Content With the Lies

Okay that was just way too damn good.  I love Harry Potter and this is the first fic I've read based on the series.  Absolutely excellent.  I loved the story of Angelina, her capture and that complicated relationship with Dimitri.  And yes, yes, I know it's finished. But girl I was reading this cursing out loud because I wanted to know more.  This was alwesome, plain and simple. Will be waiting anxiously for your next fic.

This is your first HP fic? There's so much out there I thought no one was a HP fic virgin. Even people who aren't fans get fic thrown in their face when they least expect it.

As I was saying earlier, I have this thing about writing open endings. I know what happens after the fic ends but I don't have the motivation to write it yet.
