Summary:

This is a General Hospital fan fic that takes place in 2014.  When Keesha Ward left the show in 1998, she returned to Philadelphia to tend to her sick father.  In my story, Keesha also found out she was pregnant by A.J. Quartermaine.  She gave birth to a daughter, Julianna Mae Ward, and has remained in her family home all this time.  She studied to become a nurse and had a successful career until a diseased liver brings her closer to death than life, and she decides it's time to let A.J. know he has a daughter.

Other PCers are also in this story.  Sonny and Carly Corinthos have died.

Hi!  Thanks for your review! :-)  LOL about Carly and Sonny.  They worked better for me in this story as deceased characters.  For some reason, I don't mind them too much in fan fic (I guess it depends on the story and the writer), but when I watched GH regularly, I didn't like them on the show.  Hope you will continue to enjoy the story. :-)

Oh, like where AJ has been since he 'left'. Like the fact that julianna is protecting her mama. Very interesting that you made Michael be Tony Jones son, wasn't expecting that, but I like it.

Hi!  Thanks for your review and the stars!  [I keep forgetting to mention that in my responses, but I do appreciate them! :-)]  Glad you like where the characters have been and what they are doing.  Julianna is very protective of Keesha.  She sort of took over this story as I was writing it, and that was one thing that remained constant.  She wouldn't let me stray. *grin*  LOL!  For this story, I changed a few things around.  Hope you will continue to enjoy! :-)

Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Wow, nice beginning. You described the scenes so well. Took me back to when I was eight and Hurricane Kate came thru Tally, I just remember being in the house laughing and then everything went black, like a hush came over the whole world..lol..you couldn't see 1 foot in front of you..very scary, but at the same time kinda fun.

looking forward to getting to know more about these characters.

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear you say that.  I actually did a bit of research into blackouts because it was really important to me to capture that feel in a realistic way so I am really glad that this has come across.

You know its funny when people talk about natural disasters because it just seems so crazy to me.  I've never been in a Hurrican so it sounds like such a scary experience to me.  But then I've been in several tornados and for other people that would seem scarier.  But I what you descibe is what I want to capture in this story, it's scary but also kind of fun and intriguing.

I am liking this. Love an insight into Kat that we don't get to see on the show...and it goes with out saying that I love Scotty.

I love him, too, and the more I write Kat, the more I love her.  The show has created this fabulous character and then does nothing with her, which is infuriating, but that means there's more for me to discover when I dig around in her head!

I really like Kat and Lil..I wish we say more of their relationship on show

Lil really does know Scotty and I like how she has his back

Her hidding in the bathroom reminds me of my job..I work with 4 other women and 215 men..they can work your damn nerves..LOL..the bathroom is sanctuary.

Thanks!!  Kat and Lilly are an interesting pair to write.  For whatever reason, the two are difficult to put together in a scene, which is probably why the show doesn't do it that much.  I'm really not sure what it is; maybe it's because neither of the two are particularly open.  At any rate, they're hard to write together.  But very, very rewarding.

Lilly and Scotty, by contrast, are easy to write together.  They just flow, probably because they let their guard down around each other at least a little bit!

I'm really glad you're enjoying this story!  More soon!
