Tabby and Jace met for the first time at a family member's wedding and decided to take advantage of the company and island scenery. What they didn't expect is that their paths have crossed before. It's funny how the past can come full circle.

Title: Full Bloom

Ginger...is this chick for real? She did it to herself and now is crying foul? Why doesn't she leave this man the hell alone. And if she thinks she's gonna roll up in there with the kind of posse Tabitha has backing her, start some mess, push people around, she has another thing coming. But then, this will be good for her. She needs to learn some lessons about breaking marriages and families up; and about hurting people. Tabitha's family got some voodoo girlfriend does NOT need in her life! Just take the baby and Benny's cheap ass, and get the hell on! It galls me that she has absolutely NO shame about herself. It takes balls to roll up in on Tabby's family after what she did to her and Jace. She'll get what she deserves.

Author's Response:

Ginger is definitely  bold, but she's not ready for Tab's family. Thanks glad you like it.

I cant believe that pervert! Matt's coming along.

I'm noticing Eric's treatment of Erica, over Derika and it bothers me some. Little slights like that add up over a lifetime. Why is Erica his favorite anyway?

Title: A Heart Redeemed (Sequel to the Preacher's Son)

It was handled as best it could be, however, I dont think I like Nadine's tone. She made it seem like Max was some nosey busybody who made a habit of spying on them. They live with someone, so it doesn't matter that she thought Max was at Tamika's. If that's her own private business, then act like it. Take that somewhere private; not do it right in the hallway where Max could just as easily walk in on them from the front door. Max should have told her that as well. I didn't like how she talked to her like some child.

Yes, they are married, but they have to respect Max as well with that type of stuff. Neither one of them would even think to do that in the hallway of their parents home, if they were living with them, no matter who they thought was or wasn't at home. They just wouldn't do that their home like that. And their parents would expect them to keep that in a private place.

Author's Response:

Nadine wasn't trying to be nasty.  You must remember that she's a teenage mom who is trying to adjust to living with her sister, handling her marriage and two babies, work and going to school.  She missed her husband and thought she had a moment of alone time with him and jumped on the opportunity.  She has been playing defense for her sister for a while now and she has all this going on to boot!  At 18 she is not always going to make sound decisions.  She was more embarrassed than anything and she reacted.  Even though she was embarrassed, she hoped that it would somehow help Max down the road.  Thanks for your review!

Stereotypically Yours

Matheson felt that VaLysia was just another angry black female when she brought her grandmother to dinner at his mother's request. VaLysia thought Matheson was just another uppity white prick. Neither of them expected the sparks to fly!

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Confrontation and Conflict

I'm glad Matheson made Val see what her grandma has been doing! I hope she believes it; and believes that money has something to do with this also. Why, after all this time, and the treatment they've shown her, do they now need to see her so desperately? Val claims she's smart, so I hope she see at least that much! She'd be a fool not to!

She's marrying an heir and thats not missed on them. They didn't want anything to do with her before, keep it that way! She's had to live without them in her life, nothing has changed really. That little display should tell her that. They dont want anything to do with her, and they MOST certainly dont want anyone with Matheson's means looking at her twice! They think they deserve that kind of attention, if its going to be anyone! This should be clear to her because they couldn't be more transparent if they tried! No, they are comfortable with her thinking less of herself, and that they are definitely better than her! Ughh!

They need to do something about that skank Tameka. Val needs to watch that closely.

I love how honest Matheson is with her as his partner.

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 Curiosity and Compromise

I'm living this story. Parts are hard to read, but I love it.

Good job handling it.

Author's Response:

Sorry that it's a hard read.  Is it the sex?  If so, more is acoming!  I will give sufficient warnings so you can skip over those parts if you wish!  LOL

That was awesome!! Matheson and Val both surprised me...lol! That was a switch.

I'm glad Mavis and Langston have each other in their golden years. It kind of fits, and now Mavis wont be alone since Val is just married.

Emily is Emily!

Well done!!

The inside jokes. The silent language. The saccharine sweet affection.
