I have been a long time reader of fan fiction and a great admirer of writers who can create their own works which are as compeling (and sometimes even better than published works). I started dappling in writing fan fiction about ten+ years ago and I haven't looked back since.
Cold Case fanfic. My take on that delightful scene from 6.11, "Wings," where Kat brings Scotty coffee. One-shot, complete.
I only started getting into Cold Case this years from catching re-runs on TNT. This is the first Cold Case fic that I read and I hope it won't be the last.
I really love your characterizations of Scotty and Kat. I think they are spot-on.

Gotta say I do love how clueless Scotty was when Kat was telling him she was pregnant. Hee, I would think pregnancy was the most obvious answer given the clues she was dropping. LOL!
I look forward to seeing what happens next.
Clueless Scotty is so adorable, isn't he? I think this was just so far beyond the realm of possibility in his mind that he a) didn't even consider it, and b) didn't react well. Scotty doesn't seem to be the sort who likes surprises, and this was a big one.
That said, yeah, I don't think Kat's going to like this much. We'll see if they can sort things out in the next chapter.

She just sounds adorable. :) I think Kat handled the Scotty situation perfectly and I look forward to seeing how they interact with each other now that they are expecting a child together.
