Summary:

Imani

There's no nice way to day this, Micky was a real dick at the end. She hasn't done anything to him, so why is he treating like she doesn't matter. I hope Imani goes out on at least one date with Earle just to spite Micky.

How stupid does Rachel think Imani is?? Rachel needs to just accept that Micky doesn't want her anymore. I think it great that his leaving her has nothing to do with Imani and is just about him wanting to get away from Rachel.

I was really hoping that the screaming had to do with the ex-skank, and not poor Linda. This chapter was very sad, in more ways than one. I know Linda would be very upset with Micky because of the way he's treating Imani. I hope that he'll quickly get his act together before he loses two women he loves.

Summary:

Tiny, muffled footsteps bounded towards me. Faith stood no taller than three feet which I personally thought was petite for a four-year-old. Most of her cashew nut colored skin was covered by the oversized t-shirt she had draped over her shoulders. I giggled at the disheveled state that her dark brown hair was in. The curls hung loosely and frizzy all around her head; her curls extended at least a foot from her head. I briefly was reminded of Huey Freeman from The Boondocks. Some of her features matched mine exactly and some clearly didn’t. One feature was her big, smoky, blue-green eyes that stared up at me with innocence. They seemed to be framed with a few splashes of freckles. She would probably never know how much her eyes haunted me at times.
