Sweet love story!

Loving this story!  Can't wait until they meet up again.  Especially since it sounds like he's still in love with her.

Wow....... that's a tough ending to the first date.  Definitely curious about the mama drama thing going on!

I absolutely love this story!  It's awesome how Sunshine is so strong and her character is staying true to that.  It's cool that Nikolai is trying to keep her as far away from the dark side of his life as possible.  I'm still trying to tell if his motivation is more from love or possession -- or maybe stemming from possession but turning towards love???  Poor Sergei though, I don't see how this can turn out okay for him because regardless of Nikolai's motivation he doesn't share well.  So he needs to keep his infatuation under wraps because the only way I see him leaving at least partially in tack -- is from Sunshine appealing to Nikolai's softer side for her, but then she'd probably end up paying for that too.  Great writing! 

Oh hey, so Nikolai finally admits out loud that his "plan" is for her not to leave him after the five years are up.  Plus he's showing the depth of his feelings for her by cutting the meeting short, holding her until she fell asleep...... and the major bosses know of her and obviously his feelings towards her, hhhmmm. 

I just wonder about the whole Sergei thing -- he should know that there is no future in him pursuing Sunshine.  When it all comes down he's probably either going to be beat to within an inch of his life and then grow in to his own empire thing with lesson learned or he'll be dead.  He's showing his lack of thinking by sneaking in to the study, after getting a warning from Nikolai.  Either way it won't be good.

Wow...... Darla needs to get over it.  Find herself a new sugar daddy or something.  She's only going to make things worse for herself in the end.  I wonder what Sunshine will think if she finds out the mistress was dumped, the way she was dumped, and that it was done on the same night that she met Nikolai.  Also the fact that she is now her dad's friend.  I knew Nikolai was pissed at Sergei, but not that deep seated intense dislike for the kid.  He's wavering on killing the kid....  would Sunshine be able to move past that if it happened.... Great story!

Just when you think "just Darla" may be finding her way out of the story there she is just worming her way back in.  I'm sure we're headed for strife so I'm preparing myself for it.  Because I know Nikki is not the nicest of people, but darn it I like him.

Ultimate love for this story!  Mr. Coffee -- stay away from Bed Sty, I'm not getting good vibes from that.  Peanut doesn't seem to be the most trustworthy/reliable person.  Trying to get them back probably would have worked the first year .... 3 years down the line -- the relationship will NEVER be the same and seems past the repairable stage.  I wish he would give up on that pipe dream, but he's an addict.  Nikki needs to start trusting in his and Sunshines feelings for each other and stop feeling the need to manipulate every situation.  Sunny is a hard one to read, especially with her bamboo analogy ...... I'm pretty sure her feelings for him are genuine, but she could just be bending but not breaking.  It's just their cozy times seem so real and it would have to be a really good actress to have that level of affection still after 3 yrs.  What's up with Sergei?

Great update!  Love how Sunshine is still showing her concern and love for Nikki, eventhough she is mad.  Nikki's fighting hard to keep his darkside down.  What's the saying 'you can take the gangster out the hood but.....'  Sergei is nothing if not persistant, I don't know how many times Sunshine has called him her friend and yet there he is trying to be more... what's going to happen when Nikki finds out???  I know you said Darla is out of the story now -- Is that because she no longer exists?  I can't imagine Nikki just let that go.  I'm still wondering what Darla got, all the money that was with the brochures or something?  Anyway great story!

Great update!  I see why Sunny wants to know what he does, but I see why he doesn't want her to know either.   I don't want Sunny to become Darla!  All these guys that can't take a hint can't be a good thing.
