When I was younger I loved reading very much but since the advent of television my reading habits have fallen off considerably. My first language is not English but a version of it which is "Creole" since I am a Belizean. My mother is Jamaican but my father was a Belizean. I felt that my earlier televison viewing habits have shaped my some of my opnions over the years but these days I try to instill in my nieces that we as black women have to be proud of ourselves.
Yeah Evangeline doesn't need these guys to validate herself as a woman or to take care of her emotional needs. But you know I still see Todd as someone who could understand all of that...:) Thanks for the Tangie cause I can't get enough!

I hate it sometimes when a vampire has that type of power over your senses and your very being...it's so chilling. I'm trying to figure out whether Craven is both good and bad. What role does Han play in all of this?
My favorite part is Han's conversation with his teacher because I sense that he is missing Trish very much. I wish you could give us a flashback into their relationship. But I give you major points for that eventhough I want more
Spark since you read my story I decided to give yours a try. I have always been a fan of Romeo must Die and I love this tribute and actually wish that you would give a glimpse into Han's and Trish engagement like him remembering...hint...hint...LOL!!! It's your story and you do as you wish. I am interesting to find out about these two...
Now the picture is becoming clearer. Craven/Kai is after poor Perri so come on Spark who is going to rescue her from this fate. P.S. I noticed that she is having those dreams so please for her sake...LOL!
I guess ladies get this all over the world...when you are stressed you need "protein" and when you do meet someone you have to worry about their gay tendencies...
Should have known Perri's dreams would be interfering with her life. Thank goodness Desire is around even with her nutty ideas

So Han plays a pivotal role in this after all. At first I was unclear of his part in your story so you got me there. If he is going to rescue Perri does that mean what I think it means So looking forward to the next update!

Yesterday I read it far too quickly so this morning I decided to sit down and read it again more carefully...I loved this part...felt the emotion behind his words and the love...
"No. Wait. I just. I was. I love it. It's that I've never lived with anyone before. Not a woman. And of course we love...we make beautiful love." He smiled touching her face. But, I want more. I just have been hoping that you'd want to be more..."
Thanks for making my week with this chapter. Trish could bring out the other side of Han and he was open to accept her which is so beautiful. So sad that their happiness was taken away from him but you could see that he cherished the precious moments they spent together. Wonderful read...again Thanks :)
So I see Craven wasn't at the top of his game like he thought he was. I know how these men work with a back up plan of sorts...:) Curious as to what he wants Bradley to do. Poor Perri will be taken up into this deceit. Who will rescue her?

Damn Craven has really changed Desire into a sex fiend without much control and hungry too...LOL!!! I'm still thinking poor Perri because she is blind to what is going on around her and yet I'm looking forward to the next update regarding what Craven has in store for her..
Craven is in big trouble with Desire and I couldn't be more delighted...LOL!!! Serves him right! At least I saw that Perri wasn't falling for all of his charms - her eyes are beginning to open to see something isn't quite right. Maybe I'm underestimating Perri we'll see. I did read it before but didn't have time to add my review...sorry!

OH MY! Sex with these vampires are amazingly hot and raw and everything! It seems that Craven cannot control Desire all that well...nor his twins. Major drama done by his own hands. What a scene Perri ran into and of course those vamps have the gift of not letting you remember. Wonder how Craven will rectify his disintegrating plans.

Author's Response: Desire is comical to me, because she is such a vamp in that she's goal oriented. She lusts for Craven and that's not entirely her fault...he sexed her and left her thirsty for more of him. She's planning to turn the tables.
Ohh the plot thickens! Desire my type of woman - knowing when the take charge especially against Craven. We are definitely in for a battle. Is Craven mind so involved with Perri that is unaware of this plot against him? I'm not sure about this one because usually he senses when Desire is causing trouble unless she is able to keep that part of her mind hidden...interesting.

YES! But in a way I'm sorry that Desire is gone but it was necessary. I could imagine the look on her face when the baby wasn't Craven...all the plans rolled away...LOL! Sundiata had a hand in saving Perri who would have thunk it. Well at least my man HAN came to the rescue!
Damn Bradley maybe I should feel pity for him after all Deacon is his son but he knows what that kid will become. Han hunts on and on with no rest in sight. Hunting these two down has become his mission in life since Trish isnt around. Thankfully Perri is alright. Wish she could take him away from the darkness but I guess she does sometimes. Thanks for the great story because I thoroughly enjoyed reading it including that tribute to Aaliyah!

Sweet. I too watch Cold Case because of her. Makes me wonder if they will take that route with Scotty because indeed he is a manwhore. Sometimes I wonder with whom he will settle town but I do love the concept of these two getting together. Great story understand why its a one-shot but still wanted more...
