ShoutBox Rules

1. Use common sense. If you don't think you should type it then don't type it. Sometimes, it's best to keep some topics and information to yourself. If you feel the need to want to discuss such things then please do it on an instant messenger or another form of communication. It is not advisable to put too much private information in a public forum.

2. Be respectful to each other. Everyone should be treated with respect and common courtesy. Consider the shoutbox as our home and we are all roommates inside of it. You don't have to love each other, but you need to tolerate and respect each other.

3. Keep the atmosphere positive. The shoutbox is a place of positivity, so keep it as such. There is nothing wrong with a little debate, but there is a difference between unnecessary negative comments and a comment reflecting one's opinion.

4. Keep mature subjects at a minimum and censor yourself. Some of us all have talked about mature things in the shoutbox, but that doesn't mean the subjects doesn't make some people uncomfortable. Keep others in mind when you type something and if need be, please move the conversation to an external communication source. AIM and YIM are two of the many messengers that provide the option to do instant message conferences.

Additionally, if anyone has any concerns or would like to report misconduct then please contact the admins, so they can further investigate the matter before proceeding. Breaking the rules can result in one being banned from the shoutbox. Also, admins reserve the right to delete any offensive/derogatory comments, etc. Repeated reports and complaints may result in banning as well, but only after a proper investigation. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact admins via email, IM, or through the forum.
