Story Notes:

This is just a little drabble (?) that came to mind when I saw the Lonely Highways prompt. It's been a while since i've written anything besides research papers so sorry if it's a bit rough.

Well this wasn’t sketchy at all.

Hiccup.

No one could just come along and hit me, no not at all.

Hiccup.

He and the Bitch should have been the ones to leave. Ty would have kicked them out if I had asked. But of course I had to make my dramatic exit.

Things were already so fucked up.

Hiccup.

I hate parties in the woods. Why couldn’t my mother have moved to the city when dead left?

Hiccup. Hiccup.

Is that a person up ahead? I think it is? Who the fuck is walking on this road at this time of night?

Well I guess I am too. But still what are the chances?

I hope he doesn’t give me any trouble. I’ve had enough for the night.

It is a he isn’t it? It could be a she.

Girls can be awfully tall these days.

Maybe if I squint I’ll get a better view? Yes, great idea.

It’s a boy! Someone break out the cigars. Har. Har. Har. Hiccup

God he’s getting awfully close. He’s cuute. Wait, no stop that, no thinking strange boys on empty highways are hot.

He’s slowing down. He’s come to a stop.  Oh god he’s going to speak to me. Wait, feet when did you decide to stop?

“Hi.” At least he seems nervous. Good he should be, I took taekwondo as a child.

“Hi” He has the looks of an angel. All milk and honey…

No! He could still totally be a homicidal maniac. Play it cool.

“I’m Marcus.”

I take his hand. “Kieran”

A smile appears on his lips.

Lips I’d love to explore with my own.

“So what is a pretty little girl like you doing out here alone in the dark?”

Little girl? Way not to sound creepy. But I do appreciate the sultry drawl he has going on.

“Car trouble. I was on my way home from a party.”

“No one could pick you up?”

“My mom is out of town. I’m an only child. And my now ex boyfriend is probably happily fucking my best friend.”

Fuck, talk about giving up too much information. Fuck.

A pause. Hiccup. He raises an eyebrow.

I did say I was coming from a party. I was a little tipsy, sue me.

“You have the most beautiful eyes. They’re like obsidian pools I could just get lost in for…ever.” His right hand reached past my temple and threaded through my smooth black tresses.

Blink.

I pulled back. His grip tightened. Blond curls brushed my cheek as he neared my neck.

Shit.

I had become of those girls. I did deserve death. Or being the eternal undead?

Hiccup.

Chapter End Notes:

It's a little clcihed. But I'm working on writing in the first person so i thought ths would be a nice shot at it. Leave me your thoughts!
