Thanks for a great update. Poor Maxie, he is in love with Selma and wants a family but Selma thinks that she is to old to have more children. I understand where she is coming from. I hope that they work something out. I thought that her children were so mean to Maxie especially her oldest son Stephen. Looking forward to reading more.

i feel selma. personally, i wouldn't mind getting remarried but having babies...i think not. but stephen needs to calm his butt down. i highly doubt that if his father was the surviving parent that he would have issues with him dating. he just dont like the idea of her being with someone else. point blank. great update!

I don't know how I feel about Maxie's family, Rowland and Michigan seem to good people. But Russell is a ahole!!! Selma's boys need a good old fashioned ass whooping for that behavior. Selma knew that Maxie wanted children so why waste his time if you don't want the same thing. Maxie deserves to be father to children that come from his loins. They need to sit down and have a serious conversation and she needs to let him go so that he can find a woman that wants to more children. Brenda you are a rock star!!

Her sons are selfish! I would understand if she had started dating only a few months after their dad died, but she has been widowed for 2 years now. Poor Maxie, he didnt pick the right time to bring out the ring, but I think she was a bit harsh with him as well. Loved it!

Thanks Happy! That means a lot coming from you. Yes, most stories have the hero packing a mighty big...uh...er...you know! (hee hee). What about the guys that are born with less? Can they get some love? Hmmm so the thought was born. Men really do obsess over size (and some women too). I've gotten good reviews on Maxie and Selma. I'm sure they are going to pop up again (soon perhaps) because I've been trying to move on, but the muse is fighting me hard!
