Ahhh, I love the way you write. It's the kind of emotion I wish they'd show on the show more but they're only interested in twisted plots that at the end throw Damon and Elena comforting each other. But what about Bonnie! Beautifully written. Loved it

this was awesome. as you know, i don't watch the show, mainly b.c of the path i knew it was going to take. but this is a great description of the frustration that we as women of colour feel when watching these fucking shows and we don't get our shine. we're always the best friend, the background, and ::cringe:: the sassy girl. we save the day, we give the best advice, and cook the best meals. we're nothing but glorified, skinnier, lighter, and more attractive Mamies. for her to get that attention, even from an evil source, to be noticed as a woman, an individual - that's powerful stuff and i don't blame her one second for giving in. this acquiese is just an embodiment of fanfiction in general, a way for the overlooked characters to get their shine in some sort of way.
