Why is Shaun blindly following Celia's 'advice' even when it's against her own conscience?  Celia presented an either or scenario, but those are definitely not the only option.  She could tell everything to Adam--including the reasons why she decided to do the article in the first place and ask for his cooperation in working out something that will benefit them both.

At this point, he'll only lose if he 'ditches the black girl' or says a bunch of unproven, negative things about her before she's actually done anything.

He'd be a lot hurt and probably even more angry, but he might get over that enough to jointly come up with a plan that would help both of them.

Shout up Celia! So sorry Shaun. Celia is so not the voice of reason.  Shaun should write the article but she should also include herself in the process and express her changing emotions/feelings for Adam. Would make for marvelous reading.

Any misgivings I had about Adam's character has been put to rest. I think he has proven that he is no racist, just a fool with a big mouth and his upcoming public humiliation from Shaun's story should surely put a stop to any future blunders.

Wow! This is amazing! What a massive, MASSIVE, problem Shaun has. This is painful. No matter which way she looks at it - it seems horrible consequences will exist on each end of the stick (either choice). But, sadly, sadly, the real answer IS to get honest. Any other delays or lies or omissions of full disclosure, will result in a more painful situation. Sadly. Celia is NOT helping her. Not sure why. But she (Celia) ISN'T. A true friend would make Shaun face the real truth and come CLEAN. The ONLY real answer IS the painful one - TELL HIM - and NOW without any further delays. And Adam: he has to look at his own house and get straight. Why was he hesitant when she asked if he slep with anyone else - I noticed that - has he? What's up with the Veronica chick. OK OK OK there's a lot here to cover.

1) I know what it is to have a critic for a parent. Constantly pointing out the error and hardly saying what's done right. That's freaking frustrating/ aggravating etc. so definitely get out of there and as much as I want to tell Shaun to face her parentals is easier said than done.

2) We all saw Adam's confession coming (not really a confession he's been blantaly laying it down hard on her (no pun yet lol)). I just feel bad that he's all for it and she wants to be but can't because and 

3) Look this cosmo gig is making things sticky, but to me they're just thinking one track and making it a do it or keep him. There's definitely other options on there...say what if she actually sat down with Adam and have a heart to heart, let him know hey you're going to be pissed. You'll probably not want to talk to me, but I need to tell you what is going on for my sanity and yours, and just spill it all. He might get angry not talk to her for a while, or he might find it humorous (who knows), but if Adam likes her as much as I think he does, he'll come back and they can work something out, I'm sure. They can both get what they want, she needs to communicate to him 

Anyway that's my spew. I've been meaning to write that last bit for the longest, but thanks for the update. Wonder what she will do. Either way Adam is going to be pissed, but whether she publically humiliates him (which will make it worse and I haven't forgotten what he had done in the beginning to set this up, but things are different now... they care for each other) or she tells him what to expect can dim that anger and move things along much faster or just bomb in her face.

Yeah, she's in deep shit. I honestly have no clue how you're going to get her out of this. She's got this guy open. Open. For the first time in his life. That's why deception is something you shouldn't participate in. I sometimes wonder what this story would be like if she were just a regular writer who was just reluctant to be in a relationship with an asshole rockstar. I feel so, so bad for Adam. My sympathy for Shaun is waning. She has zero confidence in herself, can't actively make her wrongs right, and is a push over. How is she even fit to be a rockstar's girlfriend? His world is brutal. She's not gaining confidence with each chapter (Adam is feeding her compliments and instilling confidence, but it's nothing that she's building). Is Adam really seeing Shaun, or is he projecting his needs into her? I really don't want Adam to break her because this has potential to go all wrong. 

I just feel like every chapter update is the same. Shaun feels bad about decieving Adam. Adam is trying to figure Shaun out. Rinse. Repeat. I really like them together, but individually, I don't see much development.
