luv it ...... can't believe Ben had the audacity to kiss Melissa knowing she had a boyfriend and he had a girlfirend himself.
Happy Melissa did not fell for his bullshit of how he like her more than his girlfiend, when early he told her he can't be with her because people will not accept their relationship becuase of their skin colored . Ben is such a jerk.
So, if he meet Melissa again and his feeling return, is he gonna try break her marriage up and try to win her back, where at the same time ask for divorce from beth in attempt to be with Melissa , his so called first true love.

Ben is a jerk, but if his long last unforgotten love is Black, why all of the racist comments? Is it a coincidence that Melinda married a white (South African) man after all? Was she also in love with dimwitted Ben? Some ignorant comments can be attirbuted to youth, but Ben is an adult, who doesn't appear to have matured beyond his high school years. Maybe Ben and Melinda's relationship advanced beyond a kiss, and Ben is still bitter. Then again, maybe Melinda is the one that got away. Poor Carey! I hope that he explains this odd situation to his girlfriend before his brother Ben blurts it out.
So looking forward to the next installment~

hi great update. quick question though on bianca's ethnicity - in chapter 6 i think you say her dad is a nigerian native and then in 8 her father is white south african. which is it?

First: I see Ben has always been an ass! He's the one that kissed Melinda first, then he turns around and tries to make it sound like she's not only acting like a cheat, but is trying to turn him into one as well. I don't blame Melinda! I would've given him the long arm too! Then he has the nerve to try it again and tells her to dump her boyfriend in the process. Isn't that what he said he couldn't do? So why should she? Jerk!!
Second: I hadn't realized Ben was that much older than his brothers.

Thank you for updating, I was just thinking about this story the other day and hoping you'd be back soon. Ben's got a nerve. He was a coward when it came to standing up to "his people" so he got what he deserved. I hope he gets a chance to see what he gave up and eat his heart out.
